On the notion of Cohen–Macaulayness for non-Noetherian rings

There exist many characterizations of Noetherian Cohen–Macaulay rings in the literature. These characterizations do not remain equivalent if we drop the Noetherian assumption. The aim of this paper is to provide some comparisons between some of these characterizations in non-Noetherian case. Toward solving a conjecture posed by Glaz, we give a generalization of the Hochster–Eagon result on Cohen–Macaulayness of invariant rings, in the context of non-Noetherian rings.     

Independence of vectors in codes over rings

We study codes over Frobenius rings. We describe Frobenius rings via an isomorphism to the product of local Frobenius rings and use this decomposition to describe an analog of linear independence. Special attention is given to codes over principal ideal rings and a basis for codes over principal ideal rings is defined. We prove that a basis exists for any code over a principal ideal ring and that any two basis have the same number of vectors. 应用基于逼近理想解排序法的区间三角模糊多属性决策模型,对三江平原六大分区地下水脆弱性进行了风险预警和评估.评估结果与前人吻合,可为有关决策部门采取相应降低环境风险的措施提供参考.实例验证表明,模型具有更高的计算精度和更好的评价效果,为有关环境风险决策部门对地下水风险预警和评估提供了新的思路和方法.

Dimension polynomials of difference local algebras

We extend the concept of the difference dimension polynomial of a difference field extension to difference local algebras. The main theorem of the paper establishes the existence and form of the dimension polynomial associated with the localization of a finitely generated well-mixed difference algebra at a prime reflexive difference ideal.

Given a birational normal extension O of a two-dimensional local regular ring (R,m), we describe all the equisingularity types of the complete m-primary ideals J in R whose blowing-up X=BlJ(R) has some point Q whose local ring OX,Q is analytically isomorphic to O.     

Spectral flow as winding number and integral formulas

A general integral formula for the spectral flow of a path of unbounded selfadjoint Fredholm operators subject to certain summability conditions is derived from the interpretation of the spectral flow as a winding number.
