In the present article, we propose a new control chart for monitoring high quality processes. More specifically, we suggest declaring the monitored process out of control, by exploiting a compound rule couching on the number of conforming units observed between the (i − 1)th and the ith nonconforming item and the number of conforming items observed between the (i − 2)th and the ith nonconforming item. Our numerical experimentation demonstrates that the proposed control chart, in most of the cases, exhibits a better (or at least equivalent) performance than its competitors. 相似文献

The aim of this paper is to present the basic principles and recent advances in the area of statistical process control charting
with the aid of runs rules. More specifically, we review the well known Shewhart type control charts supplemented with additional
rules based on the theory of runs and scans. The motivation for this article stems from the fact that during the last decades,
the performance improvement of the Shewhart charts by exploiting runs rules has attracted continuous research interest. Furthermore,
we briefly discuss the Markov chain approach which is the most popular technique for studying the run length distribution
of run based control charts.

run-related distribution are very simple and suitable for numerical and symbolic calculations by means of computer algebra
systems. The results presented here develop a general workable framework for the study of Pólya urn models. Our attempts are
very useful for understanding non-classic urn models. Finally, numerical examples are also given in order to illustrate the
feasibility of our results.

We propose and illustrate a novel type of shoreline boundary conditions for Boussinesq‐type models. On the basis of characteristic equations of the non‐linear shallow water equations, boundary conditions are developed equations that can suitably model the motion of the instantaneous shoreline. Such boundary conditions are then implemented in a numerical solver for a specific set of Boussinesq‐type equations, which have been proved very effective for near‐shore modelling. Run to run (R2R) optimization based on unfolded Partial Least Squares (u‐PLS) is a promising approach for improving the performance of batch and fed‐batch processes as it is able to continuously adapt to changing processing conditions. Using this technique, the regression coefficients of PLS are used to modify the input profile of the process in order to optimize the yield. When this approach was initially proposed, it was observed that the optimization performed better when PLS was combined with a smoothing technique, in particular a sliding window filtering, which constrained the regression coefficients to be smooth. In the present paper, this result is further investigated and some modifications to the original approach are proposed. Also, the suitability of different smoothing techniques in combination with PLS is studied for both end‐of‐batch quality prediction and R2R optimization. The smoothing techniques considered in this paper include the original filtering approach, the introduction of smoothing constraints in the PLS calibration (Penalized PLS), and the use of functional analysis (Functional PLS). 为应对气候变化问题,《京都议定书》等文件催生了以CO2排放权作为商品的碳交易市场的建立。研究中国试点碳排放权交易市场的有效性对我国统一碳市场的建设以及碳中和目标的实现具有重要的指导意义。本文选取有效交易日数据,对中国试点碳市场的有效性进行探索性研究,结合有效市场假说理论与分形市场假说理论,分别采用游程检验法、方差比检验法以及重标极差分析法对中国碳市场有效性进行综合分析,同时探讨各方法导致计算结果不一致的原因,并利用GARCH模型进行检验。研究表明:中国试点碳市场未能达到弱式有效水平。同时,根据中国目前碳市场运行现状给出一定的建议。 相似文献

This paper presents a Lagrangian–Eulerian finite element formulation for solving fluid dynamics problems with moving boundaries and employs the method to long wave run‐up. The method is based on a set of Lagrangian particles which serve as moving nodes for the finite element mesh. Nodes at the moving shoreline are identified by the alpha shape concept which utilizes the distance from neighbouring nodes in different directions. An efficient triangulation technique is then used for the mesh generation at each time step. In order to validate the numerical method the code has been compared with analytical solutions and a preexisting finite difference model. The main focus of our investigation is to assess the numerical method through simulations of three‐dimensional dam break and long wave run‐up on curved beaches. Particularly the method is put to test for cases where different shoreline segments connect and produce a computational domain surrounding dry regions. Copyright © 2006 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献
