室温下制备以{211}晶面为主的Ti1-xVxO2薄膜及其可见光催化性能

以金属Ti和V作为靶材,采用直流反应共溅射技术在室温下制备了以{211}晶面为主的锐钛矿相Ti_1-xV_xO₂薄膜,研究了不同V靶功率对Ti_1-xV_xO₂薄膜的薄膜成分、晶相结构和可见光催化性能的影响。研究表明,Ti_1-xV_xO₂薄膜的晶相结构为锐钛矿相,择优取向为(211),而结晶度受V靶功率的影响。随着V靶功率的增加,薄膜中V元素含量逐渐增加,同时,晶粒和沉积速率也逐渐增加。另外,当V靶功率为150 W时,薄膜的表面粗糙度值有一个最大值。V的掺杂导致薄膜的能带间隙变窄,对光的吸收向可见光区偏移,从而有效地改善了薄膜的可见光催化能力。当V靶功率为150 W时,Ti_1-xV_xO₂薄膜的能带间隙值为 2.82 eV,其在2 h的可见光照射下分解了80%的RhB染料。这被归结于能带间隙窄,高能晶面{211}和结晶度高的共同作用。     

环氧氯丙烷作重原子微扰剂在环糊精诱导室温磷光法中的应用

本文报道一种新型的重原子微扰剂－环氧氯丙烷（ＥＣＨ）,在此重原子微扰下,建立了β－环糊精诱导室温磷光法（β－ＣＤ－ＲＴＰ）测定痕量溴代萘（ＢｒＮ）的方法,结果令人满意。同时还在该体系中测定了溴代萘的ＤＴＰ寿命、猝灭常数、三元包合物的包接常数。实验结果证明,α－ＢｒＮ／ＥＣＨ／β－ＣＤ三分子包接配合物比β－ＢｒＨ／ＥＣＨ／β－ＣＤ三分子包接络合物包接更加有效,而且稳定性更强。     

硫鸟嘌呤修饰的Mn:ZnS QDs磷光探针检测铂(Ⅲ)

通过水相合成法制备了硫鸟嘌呤(TG)修饰的锰掺杂硫化锌量子点(TG-Mn:ZnS QDs)。加入Pt⁴⁺后,Pt⁴⁺会与硫鸟嘌呤上的氮原子结合形成N-Pt⁴⁺配位结构附着在TG-Mn:ZnS QDs的表面,随着Pt⁴⁺浓度的增加,TG-Mn:ZnS QDs-Pt⁴⁺体系发生电子转移而导致磷光逐渐被猝灭,基于此构建了检测Pt⁴⁺的磷光探针。实验中考察了p H、时间对Pt⁴⁺猝灭TG-Mn:ZnS QDs磷光强度的影响。在最佳实验条件下,Pt⁴⁺浓度在0.06~2.4μg/mL范围内与TG-Mn:ZnS QDs的磷光强度呈良好的线性关系y=0.0884x+0.2319,R²=0.991,方法检出限(3σ/n)为1.3μg/mL。该磷光探针适用于实际样品中Pt⁴⁺含量的测定。     

Radiation background due to radioactive sources in a luminescence dating laboratory

For practical reasons, usually, luminescence dating laboratories contain in the same room (or in adjacent rooms) the equipment and the radioactive sources, as well as the storage cabinet for the samples. It is generally assumed that the absorbed dose due to ambient radioactivity is null or at least negligible in terms of human health (below the dose limit).To test the actual dose rate inside our laboratory room, an investigation combining portable dose rate meter, portable NaI(Tl) gamma spectrometry, and blue-OSL dosimetry using Al₂O₃:C pellets was made. Although our measurements show the presence of X-rays as far as 3 m from the sources, the dose rates are below the safety regulation and does not affect the dating of the sample stored in the same room as the radioactive sources.     

Growth and characterization of InAs quantum dots with low-density and long emission wavelength

The growth parameters affecting the deposition of self-assembled InAs quantum dots （QDs） on GaAs substrate by low-pressure metal-organic chemical vapor deposition （MOCVD） are reported. The low-density InAs QDs （- 5 × 10^8cm^-2） are achieved using high growth temperature and low InAs coverage. Photoluminescence （PL） measurements show the good optical quality of low-density QDs. At room temperature, the ground state peak wavelength of PL spectrum and full-width at half-maximum （FWHM） are 1361 nm and 23 meV （35 nm）, respectively, which are obtained as the GaAs capping layer grown using triethylgallium （TEG） and tertiallybutylarsine （TBA）. The PL spectra exhibit three emission peaks at 1361, 1280, and 1204 nm, which correspond to the ground state, the first excited state, and the second excited state of the ODs, respectively.     

On the Infinitesimal Rigidity of Homogeneous Varieties

Let XP be a variety (respectively an open subset of an analytic submanifold) and let xX be a point where all integer valued differential invariants are locally constant. We show that if the projective second fundamental form of X at x is isomorphic to the second fundamental form of a point of a Segre P× P, n,m2, a Grassmaniann G(2,n+2), n4, or the Cayley plane OP², then X is the corresponding homogeneous variety (resp. an open subset of the corresponding homogeneous variety). The case of the Segre P²×P² had been conjectured by Griffiths and Harris in [GH]. If the projective second fundamental form of X at x is isomorphic to the second fundamental form of a point of a Veronese v₂(P) and the Fubini cubic form of X at x is zero, then X=v₂ (P) (resp. an open subset of v₂(P)). All these results are valid in the real or complex analytic categories and locally in the C category if one assumes the hypotheses hold in a neighborhood of any point x. As a byproduct, we show that the systems of quadrics I₂(P P) S²C, I₂(P¹× P) S²C and I₂(S₅) S²C¹⁶ are stable in the sense that if A S^* is an analytic family such that for t0,AA, then A₀A. We also make some observations related to the Fulton–:Hansen connectedness theorem.     

Size Effect of the Immediate Surround for the Border between the Natural and Unnatural Object Color Appearance

The border luminance of the test stimulus between the natural and unnatural object color, y_ynB_u was obtained for different spatial sizes of the immediate surround to prove that _nB_u can be determined based on a new recognized visual space of illumination (RVSI) that is assumed to be constructed for the immediate surround separately from the RVSI for the subjects room itself. The _nB_u of five test stimuli were determined for six different sizes covering from zero to 1866 cm² with four different lightnesses, N4, N6 and N8, while keeping the room illuminance constant at 100 or 600 lx. The results showed that luminance of the border _nB_u gradually decreased as the size of the immediate surround was increased and that the decrease was larger for immediate surround with lower lightness. The results were interpreted as showing a new RVSI constructed for the spatial extent of the immediate surround of the test stimulus, and the RVSI was more completely constructed for larger spatial size of the immediate surround. © 2005 The Optical Society of Japan     

Pairs of Dual Wavelet Frames from Any Two Refinable Functions

Starting from any two compactly supported refinable functions in L₂(R) with dilation factor d,we show that it is always possible to construct 2d wavelet functions with compact support such that they generate a pair of dual d-wavelet frames in L₂(R). Moreover, the number of vanishing moments of each of these wavelet frames is equal to the approximation order of the dual MRA; this is the highest possible. In particular, when we consider symmetric refinable functions, the constructed dual wavelets are also symmetric or antisymmetric. As a consequence, for any compactly supported refinable function in L₂(R), it is possible to construct, explicitly and easily, wavelets that are finite linear combinations of translates (d · – k), and that generate a wavelet frame with an arbitrarily preassigned number of vanishing moments.We illustrate the general theory by examples of such pairs of dual wavelet frames derived from B-spline functions.     

Strong Nearness Frames Having Enough Cauchy Filters

We prove results establishing sufficient conditions for the sum of two nearness frames to have enough Cauchy filters. From these results and the fact that, in the category of strong nearness frames having enough Cauchy filters and uniform frame maps, complete spatial frames form a coreflective subcategory, follow a variety of results where the open-sets contravariant functor from topological spaces to frames transforms products into sums and inverse limits into direct limits.
