在研究岩土工程的整体稳定可靠度分析及二维随机界面元法的基础上，建立了等参随机界面元法的数学模型，推导了基本公式，编制了计算程序，以均质边坡的抗滑可靠度分析作为数值算例，并就计算结果进行了分析和探讨．

Computational analysis for the determination of deleterious nsSNPs in human MTHFD1 gene

Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) are the most common genetic polymorphisms and play a major role in many inherited diseases. Methylenetetrahydrofolate dehydrogenase 1 (MTHFD1) is one of the enzymes involved in folate metabolism. In the present study, the functional and structural consequences of nsSNPs of human MTHFD1 gene was analyzed using various computational tools like SIFT, PolyPhen2, PANTHER, PROVEAN, SNAP2, nsSNPAnalyzer, PhD-SNP, SNPs&GO, I-Mutant, MuPro, ConSurf, InterPro, NCBI Conserved Domain Search tool, ModPred, SPARKS-X, RAMPAGE, FT Site and PyMol. Out of 327 nsSNPs form human MTHFD1 gene, total 45 SNPs were predicted as functionally most significant SNPs, among which 17 were highly conserved and functional, 17 were highly conserved and structural residues. Among 45 most significant SNPs, 15 were predicted to be involved in post translational modifications. The p.Gly165Arg may interfere in homodimer interface formation. The p.Asn439Lys and p.Asp445Asn may interfere in binding interactions of MTHFD1 protein with cesium cation and potassium. The two SNPs (p.Asp562Gly and p.Gly637Cys) might interfere in interactions of MTHFD1 with ligand.

Log-likelihood maximization and response surface in reliability assessment

Nonlinear dynamics problems can generally be solved only in a numerical way. This prevents from a direct application of standard reliability methods. A technique which makes use of iterated response-surface analytical approximations of the system performance function was therefore proposed in view of reliability assessment. The limitation of this technique was of working in a standard normalized space, so that appropriate space transformations are preliminarly required.This paper shows how this response-surface iterative scheme can also be used in the original space of the random variables, provided a maximum log-likelihood constrained optimization problem is solved. Moreover, asymptotic theory also provides a better estimate of the probability of failure of the dynamical system against any assigned limit state.     

机翼全尺寸延寿试验及可靠性分析

机翼全尺寸疲劳试验是老龄飞机延寿的科学依据。本文介绍了疲劳裂纹形成和扩展寿命的分散系数，以及可靠度和标准差的选取。针对延寿的可靠性分析，提出按疲劳／损伤容限设计概念或当量裂纹扩展寿命方法，以及机翼串联模型，确定整机延寿使用寿命的技术途径。最后给出应用实例。

The stochastic finite element method presented in this Note consists in representing in a probabilistic form the response of a linear mechanical system whose material properties and loading are random. Each input random variable is expanded into a Hermite polynomial series in standard normal random variables. The response (e.g., the nodal displacement vector) is expanded onto the so-called polynomial chaos. Quick assessment methodology for reliability of solder joints in ball grid array (BGA) assembly—Part I: Creep constitutive relation and fatigue model

In this study, a new unified creep constitutive relation and a modified energy-based fatigue model have been established respectively to describe the creep flow and predict the fatigue life of Sn−Pb solders. It is found that the relation successfully elucidates the creep mechanism related to current constitutive relations. The model can be used to describe the temperature and frequency dependent low cycle fatigue behavior of the solder. The relation and the model are further employed in part II to develop the numerical simulation approach for the long-term reliability assessment of the plastic ball grid array (BGA) assembly.
