The quickest path problem is to minimize the transmission time for sending a specified amount of data through a single minimal path. Two deterministic attributes are involved herein; the capacity and the lead time. However, in many real-life networks such as computer systems, urban traffic systems, etc., the arc capacity should be multistate due to failure, maintenance, etc. Such a network is named a capacitated-flow network. The minimum transmission time is thus not a fixed number. This paper is mainly to evaluate system reliability that d units of data can be transmitted through k minimal paths under time constraint T. A simple algorithm is proposed to generate all minimal capacity vectors meeting the demand and time constraints. The system reliability is subsequently computed in terms of such vectors. The optimal k minimal paths with highest system reliability can further be derived.  相似文献

A consecutive(rs)-out-of-(mn):F lattice system which is defined as a two-dimensional version of a consecutive k-out-of-n:F system is used as a reliability evaluation model for a sensor system, an X-ray diagnostic system, a pattern search system, etc. This system consists of m × n components arranged like an (mn) matrix and fails iff the system has an (rs) submatrix that contains all failed components. In this paper we deal a combined model of a k-out-of-mn:F and a consecutive (rs)-out-of-(mn):F lattice system. Namely, the system has one more condition of system down, that is the total number of failed components, in addition to that of a consecutive (rs)-out-of-(mn):F lattice system. We present a method to obtain reliability of the system. The proposed method obtains the reliability by using a combinatorial equation that does not depend on the system size. Some numerical examples are presented to show the relationship between component reliability and system reliability.  相似文献

The paper develops a model to determine the optimal product reliability and production rate that achieves the biggest total integrated profit for an imperfect manufacturing process. The basic assumption of the classical Economic Manufacturing Quantity (EMQ) model is that all manufacturing items are of perfect quality. The assumption is not true in practice. Most of the production system produces perfect and imperfect quality items. In some cases the imperfect quality (non conforming) items are reworked at a cost to restore its quality to the original one. Rework cost may be reduced by improvements in product reliability (i.e., decreasing in product reliability parameter). Lower value of product reliability parameter results in increase development cost of production and also smaller quantity of nonconforming products. The unit production cost is a function of product reliability parameter and production rate. As a result, higher development cost increases unit production cost. The problem of optimal planning work and rework processes belongs to the broad field of production–inventory model which deals with all kinds of reuse processes in supply chains. These processes aim to recover defective product items in such a way that they meet the quality level of ‘good item’. The benefits from imperfect quality items are: regaining the material and value added on defective items and improving the environment protection. In this point of view, a model is introduced here to guide a firm/industry in addressing variable product reliability factor, variable unit production cost and dynamic production rate for time-varying demand. The paper provides an optimal control formulation of the problem and develops necessary and sufficient conditions for optimality of the dynamic variables. In this purpose, the Euler–Lagrange method is used to obtain optimal solutions for product reliability parameter and dynamic production rate. Finally, numerical examples are given to illustrate the proposed model.  相似文献

In this paper, we present a Hierarchical Differential Evolution (HDE) algorithm for minimal cut set (mcs) identification of coherent and non-coherent Fault Trees (FTs). In realistic application of large-size systems, problems may be encountered in handling a large number of gates and events. In this work, to avoid any approximation, mcs identification is originally transformed into a hierarchical optimization problem, stated as the search for the minimum combination of cut sets that can guarantee the best coverage of all the minterms that make the system fail: during the first step of the iterative search, a multiple-population, parallel search policy is used to expedite the convergence of the second step of the exploration algorithm. The proposed hierarchical method is applied to the Reactor Protection System (RPS) of a Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) and to the the Airlock System (AS) of a CANadian Deuterium Uranium (CANDU) reactor. Results are evaluated with respect to the accuracy and computational demand of the solution found.  相似文献

可靠性窗口的区间长度是爆炸药间隙零门设计过程中重点考虑的问题,它直接影响间隙零门能否成功作用.在固定装药密度和通道截面的情况下,将可靠性窗口问题转化为基于间隙长度的三元响应问题,并把窗口端点的阈值视为随机变量,给出了基于可靠性窗口两个端点的联合响应分布模型.为估计模型的参数,结合得分检验统计量,给出了判断三元响应分布中两阈值变量相关性的准则和模型参数估计方法.为了说明方法的有效性,结合试验数据,利用极大似然估计,给出了一类间隙零门可靠性窗口端点和区间长度的估计结果.  相似文献

The lack of well-established references for the validation of qualitative analyses and the increasing demand for reliable binary responses were the main motivating factors for this study. A detailed procedure for single-laboratory validation of qualitative methods is proposed. The experimental design and the tools for data analysis were based on the theoretical background, as well as the aspects of efficiency, convenience and simplicity. Four experimental steps were defined, as follows: (i) preliminary tests for the determination of the concentration range, (ii) a study of the rates, unreliability region, detection limit, and the accordance and concordance values, (iii) a study of the selectivity in the presence of known interferences, and (iv) a study of robustness. The applicability of the procedure was demonstrated by the validation of a qualitative commercial kit for detecting sulfonamide residues in raw milk using both the visual and instrumental reading techniques. Reliability rates of 100% were obtained for the blank samples. For the samples spiked with sulfamethazine at 10.8 and 108 μg L−1 and with sulfadimethoxine or sulfathiazole at 10 and 100 μg L−1, the reliability rates ranged from 93.3 to 100%. Selectivity was demonstrated using trimethoprim as a potential interferent. The method was considered robust for the factors of the temperature (54 and 58 °C) and time (6 and 10 min) for incubating the test strips. The estimated detection limits and unreliability regions confirmed the suitability of the kit for this purpose, based on the legislated residue limits.  相似文献

The paper considers robust parametric optimization problems using multipoint formulations and makes the link with momentum‐based formulations. Optimal sampling issues are discussed, and a procedure is proposed to quantify the confidence level on the robustness of the design. We also discuss incomplete sensitivity evaluations to take into account the computational complexity constraint. This permits to take advantage of what was previously developed for efficient monopoint design where the cost of the optimization is comparable with one state evaluations. The proposed algorithm is fully parallel and the time‐to‐solution is comparable with monopoint situations. Concepts are introduced through simple examples, and the paper ends with the design of the shape of an aircraft robust over a range of transverse winds.Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

数控车床可靠性分配模型是一个层次结构,可靠性分配的关键技术是确定结构底层指标关于顶层目标的重要度排序,其前提条件是单准则排序已知.AHP通过构造"两两比较"的"1~9"比例标度判断矩阵A_n为单准则排序提供了合理的数据条件;但是基于A_n一致性检验的特征根排序法因临界值的确定缺乏必要理论基础而受到质疑.改进AHP的FAHP因为没有摆脱"一致性检验"的干扰所以改进并不成功.为了建立与"一致性"无关的单准则排序方法定义具有可加性的评分标度概念,通过标度转换将比例标度判断矩阵A_n转化为评分标度判断矩阵B_n,利用评分标度的可加性在准则C下对n个比较对象排序.因为B_n不是正矩阵所以不存在"一致性概念",因此基于评分标度判断矩阵的排序与"一致性"无关.  相似文献

The relevation can be considered as a replacement or repair policy in reliability, in which, when a unit fails, the unit is restored to a working condition just previous to the failure, in the sense that the age of the unit is not changed but the failure rate changes. It can be also considered as a generalization of the minimal repair policy and the load‐sharing model.
