A novel dual approach to nonlinear semigroups of Lipschitz operators

Lipschitzian semigroup refers to a one-parameter semigroup of Lipschitz operators that is strongly continuous in the parameter. It contains -semigroup, nonlinear semigroup of contractions and uniformly -Lipschitzian semigroup as special cases. In this paper, through developing a series of Lipschitz dual notions, we establish an analysis approach to Lipschitzian semigroup. It is mainly proved that a (nonlinear) Lipschitzian semigroup can be isometrically embedded into a certain -semigroup. As application results, two representation formulas of Lipschitzian semigroup are established, and many asymptotic properties of -semigroup are generalized to Lipschitzian semigroup.

     

Strong convergence of Krasnoselskii and Mann's type sequences for one-parameter nonexpansive semigroups without Bochner integrals

In this paper, we prove Krasnoselskii and Mann's type convergence theorems for nonexpansive semigroups without using Bochner integral and without assuming the strict convexity of Banach spaces. One of our main results is the following: let C be a compact convex subset of a Banach space E and let be a one-parameter strongly continuous semigroup of nonexpansive mappings on C. Fréchet differentiability of the solutions of a semilinear abstract Cauchy problem

Sufficient conditions are found under which the solutions z(t;q) of a semilinear abstract Cauchy problem of the form are Fréchet differentiable with respect to the parameter q. An explicit form is provided for the sensitivity equation satisfied by the Fréchet derivative Dqz(t;q).

Comparability for ideals of regular rings

In this paper we investigate necessary and sufficient conditions under which the ideals possess comparability structure. For regular rings, we prove that every square matrix over ideals satisfying general comparability admits a diagonal reduction by quasi-invertible matrices.
