本文对高阶奇性常微分方程的非退化边值问题建立了非共轭性存在定理和上、下解型存在定理．     

Singularities in Quasi-Banach Spaces with Applications to Semilinear Elliptic Equations I

The paper deals with the extension of the singularity theory which was elaborated for Banach spaces to quasi-Banach spaces. For general quasi-Banach spaces some striking tools fail: not locally convex, the dual space may be trivial,…. Applying the concept of dual rich quasi - Banach spaces and results about Fredholm maps some results of the classical theory can be carried over. As an application we show in the continuation of this part how one can use these results for the investigation of the solution structure of semilinear elliptic boundary value problems in function Rpaces of Besov - Triebel - Lizorkin type.     

Limit distributions and one-parameter groups of linear operators on Banach spaces

Let = {U_t: t > 0} be a strongly continuous one-parameter group of operators on a Banach space X and Q be any subset of a set (X) of all probability measures on X. By (Q; ) we denote the class of all limit measures of {U_tn(μ₁ * μ₂*…*μ_n)*δ_xn}, where {μ_n}Q, {x_n}X and measures U_tnμ_j (j=1, 2,…, n; N=1, 2,…) form an infinitesimal triangular array. We define classes L_m( ) as follows: L₀( )= ( (X); ), L_m( )= (L_m−1( ); ) for m=1, 2,… and L_∞( )=_m=0^∞L_m( ). These classes are analogous to those defined earlier by Urbanik on the real line. Probability distributions from L_m( ), m=0, 1, 2,…, ∞, are described in terms of their characteristic functionals and their generalized Poisson exponents and Gaussian covariance operators.     

Central limit theorem and weak law of large numbers with rates for martingales in Banach spaces

This paper is concerned with large-$\text{O}$ error estimates concerning convergence in distribution as well as norm convergence for Banach space-valued martingale difference sequences. Indeed, two general limit theorems equipped with rates of convergence for such difference sequences are established. Applications of these lead to the central limit theorem and the weak law of large numbers with rates for Banach space-valued martingales.     

Small into isomorphisms on uniformly smooth spaces

A pointwise convergence for Sobolev space functions

Let 1<p<∞, and k,m be positive integers such that 0(k−2m)pn. Suppose ΩRⁿ is an open set, and Δ is the Laplacian operator. We will show that there is a sequence of positive constants c_j such that for every f in the Sobolev space W^k,p(Ω), for all xΩ except on a set whose Bessel capacity B_k−2m,p is zero.     

A note on nice operators

In this note, we characterize nice operators in a class of Banach spaces, which includes spaces and L₁(μ), as those operators that preserve extreme points.     

Homological Properties of Modules Over Group Algebras

Let G be a locally compact group, and let L¹ (G) be the Banachalgebra which is the group algebra of G. We consider a varietyof Banach left L¹ (G)-modules over L¹ (G), and seek to determineconditions on G that determine when these modules are eitherprojective or injective or flat in the category. The answerstypically involve G being compact or discrete or amenable. Forexample, in the case where G is discrete and 1 < p < ,we find that the module ^p (G) is injective whenever G is amenable,and that, if it is amenable, then G is ‘pseudo-amenable’,a property very close to that of amenability. 2000 MathematicsSubject Classification 46H25, 43A20.
