Event-triggered feedback stabilization of switched linear systems using dynamic quantized input

This paper is concerned with the co-design of event-triggered sampling, dynamic input quantization and constrained switching for a switched linear system. The mismatch between the plant and its corresponding controller is considered. This behavior is raised by switching within the event-triggered sampling interval. Accordingly, novel update laws of dynamic quantization parameter are designed separately for matched sampling intervals (without switching) and mismatched sampling intervals (with a switch). We technically transform the total variation (increment or decrement) of Lyapunov functions in one sampling interval into the discrete-time update of quantization parameter. Based on this transformation, a hybrid quantized control policy is developed. This policy, in conjunction with the average dwell-time switching law and the constructed event-triggered condition, can ensure the exponential stabilization of the switched system with finite-level quantized input. Besides, the event-triggered scheme is proved to be Zeno-free. The effectiveness of the developed method is verified by a simulation example.     

Hard chaos and adiabatic quantization: The wedge billiard

We present a study of a series of eigenstates occurring in the wedge billiard which may be quantized about tori by sejiclassical adiabatic quantization, even though the underlying classical system exhibits hard chaos and strictly possesses no tori. We also show that adiabatic eigenstates should be common in many chaotic systems, especially among the lower eigenstates, and present a heuristic argument as to why this should be so.     

一种矢量量化编码的快速搜索算法

提出了一种矢量量化编码的快速匹配算法。利用码书的拓扑结构和柯西 施瓦兹不等式的性质推导出了消除不必要匹配操作的条件,并根据这个条件提出了快速搜索算法。实验结果表明,该算法不仅明显降低了矢量编码过程的复杂程度,同时也保证了与全搜索编码相同的图像编码质量。与其它搜索方法的操作次数和存储空间进行了比较。     

Semiclassical Method to Schroedinger Equation with Position-Dependent Effective Mass

In this paper, two novel semiclassical methods including the standard and supersymmetric WKB quantization conditions are suggested to discuss the Schroedinger equation with position-dependent effective mass. From a proper coordinate transformation, the formalism of the Schroedinger equation with position-dependent effective mass is mapped into isospectral one with constant mass and therefore for a given mass distribution and physical potential function the bound state energy spectrum can be determined easily by above method associated with a simple integral formula. It is shown that our method can give the analytical results for some exactly-solvable quantum systems.

Some stochastic aspects of quantization

From the advent of quantum mechanics, various types of stochastic-dynamical approach to quantum mechanics have been tried. We discuss how to utilize Nelson’s stochastic quantum mechanics to analyze the tunneling phenomena, how to derive relativistic field equations via the Poisson process and how to describe a quantum dynamics of open systems by the use of quantum state diffusion, or the stochastic Schrödinger equation.     

On the Inverse Mapping of the Formal Symplectic Groupoid of a Deformation Quantization

To each natural star product on a Poisson manifold M we associate an antisymplectic involutive automorphism of the formal neighborhood of the zero section of the cotangent bundle of M. If M is symplectic, this mapping is shown to be the inverse mapping of the formal symplectic groupoid of the star product. The construction of the inverse mapping involves modular automorphisms of the star product.     

Computation of the chiral anomaly in the bulk quantization

The bulk quantization method is used for regularizing a conventional four dimensional theory of massless fermions coupled to an external non‐Abelian gauge field and for subsequently evaluating the associated Ward identity. As a result one obtains the well‐known chiral anomaly.
