A family of commuting bounded operators on a Hilbert space is said to be a spherical isometry if in the weak operator topology. We show that every commuting family of spherical isometries is jointly subnormal, which means that it has a commuting normal extension on some Hilbert space Suppose now that the normal extension is minimal. We extend Robinson’s and Ledyaev and Zhu’s implicit multifunction theorems using the language of generalized derivatives with positively homogeneous maps, allowing us to obtain results that more closely resemble the classical (single-valued) implicit function theorem. We highlight that using linear openness instead of metric regularity gives simpler proofs and stronger results. As part of our analysis, we study perturbations of generalized linear openness and metric regularity. Finally, we discuss how our methods may also be adapted to study generalized calmness. 相似文献

We study some classes of generalized convex functions, using a generalized differential approach. By this we mean a set-valued mapping which stands either for a derivative, a subdifferential or a pseudo-differential in the sense of Jeyakumar and Luc. Such a general framework allows us to avoid technical assumptions related to specific constructions. We establish some links between the corresponding classes of pseudoconvex, quasiconvex and another class of generalized convex functions we introduced. In this paper, we give some properties for nondifferentiable pseudoconvex functions on Hadamard manifolds, and discuss the connections between pseudoconvex functions and pseudomonotone vector fields. Moreover, we study Minty and Stampacchia vector variational inequalities, which are formulated in terms of Clarke subdifferential for nonsmooth functions. Some relations between the vector variational inequalities and nonsmooth vector optimization problems are established under pseudoconvexity or pseudomonotonicity. We study nonlinear integral functionals determined by normal convex integrands. First we obtain expressions for their convex conjugate, their -subdifferential and their -directional derivative. Then we derive a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of an approximate solution for the continuous infimal convolution. We also obtain general conditions which guarantee the interchangeability of the conditional expectation and subdifferential operators. Finally we examine the conditional expectation of random sets.
