SOME SUBGROUPS OF THE EXTENDED HECKE GROUPS (λ_q)

The authors consider the extended Hecke groups H(λq) generated by T(z) = -1 / z, S(z) = -1/(z + λq,) and R(z) = 1 / z with A, = 2 cos(π/q) for q≥3 an integer. In this paper, the even subgroup He(λq), the second commutator subgroup H (λq) and the principal congruence subgroups Hp(λq) of the extended Hecke groups H(λq) are studied. Also, relations between them are given.     

Compatible Lie Brackets and Integrable Equations of the Principal Chiral Model Type

We consider two classes of integrable nonlinear hyperbolic systems on Lie algebras. These systems generalize the principal chiral model. Each system is related to a pair of compatible Lie brackets and has a Lax representation, which is determined by the direct sum decomposition of the Lie algebra of Laurent series into the subalgebra of Taylor series and the complementary subalgebra corresponding to the pair. New examples of compatible Lie brackets are given.

本文用多元统计的方法 ,将物证检验中彼此相关的特征转化为不相关的新特征 ,再利用L和L 检验方法 ,大大拓广了L和L 检验方法的使用范围 ,提高了破案率。     

基于MCD的稳健主成分算法及其实证分析

主成分分析方法是在经济管理中经常使用的多元统计分析方法,在变量降维方面扮演着很重要的角色,是进行多变量综合评价的有力工具。但传统的主成分分析对于异常值十分敏感,计算结果很容易受到异常值影响,而实际数据常包含异常情况,通常分析很少考虑它们的作用。本文基于MCD估计提出一种稳健的主成分分析方法,模拟和实证分析结果表明,该方法对于抵抗异常值有很好的效果。     

Indirect boundary element method for unsteady linearized flow over prolate and oblate spheroids and hemispheroidal protuberances

The indirect boundary element method was used to study the hydrodynamics of oscillatory viscous flow over prolate and oblate spheroids, and over hemispheroidal bodies hinged to a plate. Analytic techniques, such as spheroidal coordinates, method of images, and series representations, were used to make the numerical methods more efficient. A novel method for computing the hydrodynamic torque was used, since for oscillatory flow the torque cannot be computed directly from the weightings. Instead, a Green's function for torque was derived to compute the torque indirectly from the weightings. For full spheroids, the method was checked by comparing the results to exact solutions at low and high frequencies, and to results computed using the singularity method. For hemispheroids hinged to a plate, the method for low frequencies was checked by comparing the results to previous results, and to exact solutions at high frequencies. B(A)CKLUND TRANSFORMATION ON SURFACES WITH CONSTANT MEAN CURVATURE IN R2'1

In this paper,the authors obtain the Backlund transformation on time-like surfaces with constant mean curvature in R2,1.Using this transformation,families of surfaces with constant mean curvature from known ones can be constructed.     

Hopf Modules and Noncommutative Differential Geometry

We define a new algebra of noncommutative differential forms for any Hopf algebra with an invertible antipode. We prove that there is a one-to-one correspondence between anti-Yetter–Drinfeld modules, which serve as coefficients for the Hopf cyclic (co)homology, and modules which admit a flat connection with respect to our differential calculus. Thus, we show that these coefficient modules can be regarded as “flat bundles” in the sense of Connes’ noncommutative differential geometry.
