On the global exponential stability of impulsive functional differential equations with infinite delays or finite delays

This paper considers the impulsive functional differential equations with infinite delays or finite delays. Some new sufficient conditions are obtained to guarantee the global exponential stability by employing the improved Razumikhin technique and Lyapunov functions. The result extends and improves some recent works. Moreover, the obtained Razumikhin condition is very simple and effective to implement in real problems and it is helpful to investigate the stability of delayed neural networks and synchronization problems of chaotic systems under impulsive perturbation. Finally, a numerical example and its simulation is given to show the effectiveness of the obtained result in this paper.     

Certain subclasses of p-valently analytic functions involving a generalized fractional differintegral operator

By making use of the principle of subordination between analytic functions and the generalized fractional differintegral operator, we introduce and investigate some new subclasses of p-valently analytic functions in the open unit disk. Such results as inclusion relationships, integral-preserving properties, convolution properties, subordination and superordination properties, and sandwich theorems for these classes are derived.     

A construction of real weight functions for certain orthogonal polynomials in two variables

H.L. Krall and I.M. Sheffer considered the problem of classifying certain second-order partial differential equations having an algebraically complete, weak orthogonal bivariate polynomial system of solutions. Two of the equations that they considered are

An extension of proximal methods for quasiconvex minimization on the nonnegative orthant

In this paper we propose an extension of proximal methods to solve minimization problems with quasiconvex objective functions on the nonnegative orthant. Assuming that the function is bounded from below and lower semicontinuous and using a general proximal distance, it is proved that the iterations given by our algorithm are well defined and stay in the positive orthant. If the objective function is quasiconvex we obtain the convergence of the iterates to a certain set which contains the set of optimal solutions and convergence to a KKT point if the function is continuously differentiable and the proximal parameters are bounded. Furthermore, we introduce a sufficient condition on the proximal distance such that the sequence converges to an optimal solution of the problem.     

Indefinite integrals of incomplete elliptic integrals from Jacobi elliptic functions

Integration formulas are derived for the three canonical Legendre elliptic integrals. These formulas are obtained from the differential equations satified by these elliptic integrals when the independent variable u is the argument of Jacobian elliptic function theory. This allows a limitless number of indefinite integrals with respect to the amplitude to be derived for these three elliptic integrals. Sample results are given, including the integrals derived from powers of the 12 Glaisher elliptic functions. New recurrence relations and integrals are also given for the 12 Glaisher elliptic functions.     

Almost periodic and pseudo-almost periodic solutions to fractional differential and integro-differential equations

We study the existence of almost periodic (resp., pseudo-almost periodic) mild solutions for fractional differential and integro-differential equations in the case when the forcing term belongs to the class of Stepanov almost (resp., Stepanov-like pseudo-almost) periodic functions.     

On a class of analytic functions related to conic domains and associated with Carlson-Shaffer operator

Making use of the Carlson-Shaffer convolution operator, we introduce and study a new class of analytic functions related to conic domains. The main object of this paper is to investigat inclusion relations, coefficient bound for this class. We also show that this class is closed under convolution with a convex function. Some applications are also discussed.     

Weighted Composition Operators from the Bloch Spaces to Weighted Hardy Spaces on Bounded Symmetric Domains*

Duality theorem for B‐valued martingale Orlicz–Hardy spaces associated with concave functions

The dual space of B ‐valued martingale Orlicz–Hardy space with a concave function Φ, which is associated with the conditional p‐variation of B ‐valued martingale, is characterized. To obtain the results, a new type of Campanato spaces for B ‐valued martingales is introduced and the classical technique of atomic decompositions is improved. Some results obtained here are connected closely with the p‐uniform smoothness and q‐uniform convexity of the underlying Banach space.
