On condensations of -spaces onto compacta

A condensation is a one-to-one onto mapping. It is established that, for each -compact metrizable space , the space of real-valued continuous functions on in the topology of pointwise convergence condenses onto a metrizable compactum. Note that not every Tychonoff space condenses onto a compactum.

     

Well-posed optimization problems for integral functionals

A necessary and sufficient condition for the correctness of minimum problems defined by integral functionals over pointwise constrained summable functions is that the integrand defines a well-posed minimum problem over the constraint region.This work was supported by the Laboratorio per la Matematica Applicata, Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR).     

Pointwise and Other Decay Estimates for an Isotropic Elastic Strip

This paper is concerned with an homogeneous isotropic linear elastic strip, in plane strain. It is supposed that its lateral boundaries are displacement-free and that the deformation is generated by actions on the ends. A cross-sectional measure of deformation, complementing that of a previous paper, is defined and shown to satisfy a generalised convexity condition in the axial variable x ₁, for materials with negative Poisson's ratio σ. An enhanced measure is subsequently defined, and, in the case of a semi-infinite strip, is shown to yield pointwise exponential decay estimates for both the axial and the transverse displacement components for materials with positive Poisson's ratio. 完全分配格上的全有界一致结构与邻近结构

本文的目的是在具有逆序对合对应的完全分配格上研究点式（拟）一致结构与（拟）邻近中构的联系,证明了在全有界点式一致结构与邻近结构间存在一个一一对应关系。     

Pointwise dimensions of general Moran measures with open set condition

Recently Lou and Wu obtained the formulas of pointwise dimensions of some Moran measures on Moran sets in Rd under the strong separation condition.In this paper,we prove that the result is still true under the open set condition.Due to the lack of the strong separation condition,our approach is essentially different from that used by Lou and Wu.We also obtain the formulas of the Hausdorff and packing dimensions of the Moran measures and discuss some interesting examples.     

Orlicz 空间小波展开的收敛性

In this paper we study the convergence in norm and pointwise convergence of wavelet expansion in the Orlicz spaces,and prove that,under certain conditions on the wavelet,the wavelet expansion converges in the Orlicz-norm and also converges almost everywhere.     

Geometric classification of warped products isometrically immersed into Sasakian space forms

The main objective of this paper is to study the warped product pointwise semi‐slant submanifolds which are isometrically immersed into Sasakian manifolds. First, we prove some characterizations results in terms of the shape operator, under which influence a pointwise semi‐slant submanifold of a Sasakian manifold can be reduced to a warped product submanifold. Then, we determine a geometric inequality for the second fundamental form regarding to intrinsic invariant and extrinsic invariant using the Gauss equation instead of the Codazzi equation. Evenmore, we give some applications of this inequality into Sasakian space forms, and we will investigate the status of equalities in the inequality. As a particular case, we provide numerous applications of the Green lemma, the Laplacian of warped functions and some partial differential equations. Some triviality results for connected, compact warped product pointwise semi‐slant submanifolds of Sasakian space form by means of Hamiltonian and the kinetic energy of warped function involving boundary conditions are established.     

Extraction of optical constants and thickness of nanometre scale TiO2 film

X-ray diffraction pattern and transmission spectrum were measured. The curves of refraction index and extinction coefficient distributions as well as the thickness of films calculated from transmission spectrum were obtained. The optimization problem was also solved using a method based on a constrained nonlinear programming algorithm.     

Cn中单位球上几个全纯函数空间上加权复合算子的有界性

讨论了C^n上单位球中p-Bloch空间上加权复合算子Tφ，ψ的有界性，得到Tφ，ψ是β′到β′有界算子的几个充分条件，此外还讨论了p-Bloch空间和小p-Bloch空间上复合算子T1，ψ的有界性，得到了几个充分条件和必要条件，就单位球的情形扩展了[2]的结论．
