Let Ω be a domain in R n whose boundary is C 1 if n≥3 or C 1,β if n=2. We consider a magnetic Schrödinger operator L W , q in Ω and show how to recover the boundary values of the tangential component of the vector potential W from the Dirichlet to Neumann map for L W , q . We also consider a steady state heat equation with convection term Δ+2W·? and recover the boundary values of the convection term W from the Dirichlet to Neumann map. Our method is constructive and gives a stability result at the boundary.  相似文献

By considering a least squares approximation of a given square integrable function f:n[0,1]→R by a multilinear polynomial of a specified degree, we define an index which measures the overall interaction among variables of f. This definition extends the concept of Banzhaf interaction index introduced in cooperative game theory. Our approach is partly inspired from multilinear regression analysis, where interactions among the independent variables are taken into consideration. We show that this interaction index has appealing properties which naturally generalize several properties of the Banzhaf interaction index. In particular, we interpret this index as an expected value of the difference quotients of f or, under certain natural conditions on f, as an expected value of the derivatives of f. Finally, we discuss a few applications of the interaction index in aggregation function theory.  相似文献

The problem of the Swift-Hohenberg equation is considered in this paper. Using homotopy analysis method (HAM) the series solution is developed and its convergence is discussed and documented here for the first time. In particular, we focus on the roles of the eigenvalue parameter α and the length parameter l on the large time behaviour of the solution. For a given time t, we obtain analytical expressions for eigenvalue parameter α and length l which show how different values of these parameters may lead to qualitatively different large time profiles. Also, the results are presented graphically. The results obtained reveal many interesting behaviors that warrant further study of the equations related to non-Newtonian fluid phenomena, especially the shear-thinning phenomena. Shear thinning reduces the wall shear stress.  相似文献

The present Part VI of this series of articles provides a mathematical and methodical link between (i) fundamental methodology in the repeat space theory (RST), which is referred to as the approach via the aspect of form and general topology and which has universal unifying power to handle additivity problems of molecules that have many identical moieties, and (ii) frontier electron theory of reactivity indices. We propose a modification of the classical extragradient and proximal point algorithms for finding a zero of a maximal monotone operator in a Hilbert space. At each iteration of the method, an approximate extragradient-type step is performed using information obtained from an approximate solution of a proximal point subproblem. The algorithm is of a hybrid type, as it combines steps of the extragradient and proximal methods. Furthermore, the algorithm uses elements in the enlargement (proposed by Burachik, Iusem and Svaiter) of the operator defining the problem. One of the important features of our approach is that it allows significant relaxation of tolerance requirements imposed on the solution of proximal point subproblems. This yields a more practical proximal-algorithm-based framework. Weak global convergence and local linear rate of convergence are established under suitable assumptions. It is further demonstrated that the modified forward-backward splitting algorithm of Tseng falls within the presented general framework.  相似文献

Following the framework of the finite element methods based on Riesz-representingoperators developed by Duan Huoyuan in 1997,through discrete Rieszonsome virtual(non-) conforming finite-dimensional subspaces,a stabilization formulation is presented for the Stokes problem by employing nonconforming elements. This formulation is uni-tormly coercive and not subject to the Babus Ka-Brezzi condition,and the resulted linearalgebraic system is positive definite with the spectral condition number O(h^-2).Quasi-optimal error bounds are obtained,which is consistent with the interpolation properties of the finite elements used.  相似文献
