A randomly inhomogeneous material may have macroscopic properties (elasticity, conductivity) scattered over some uncertainty intervals, despite the idealistic uniqueness assumption of homogenization theory. Based on minimum energy principles and certain statistical isotropy-symmetry hypotheses, our partly third-order bounds on the effective properties of random polycrystals are expected to estimate those scatter ranges. Explicit expressions are given and calculated for the elastic moduli of the random aggregates of some known monoclinic and triclinic crystals, which yield results in agreement with those calculated for higher-symmetry crystals: the moduli are determinable within an accuracy of two or three significant digits in most cases. It is shown, however, that with some real-world exotic crystals the bounds may fall far apart, and further theoretical and experimental studies on them deserve attention.  相似文献

Chemically functionalized maleic anhydride (MAH)-grafted polypropylene matrix has been used (in place of polypropylene as matrix with compatibilizer) to process banana fiber/chemically functionalized polypropylene (BF/CFPP) composites, without using any compatibilizer and without any fiber modification by Palsule process. Fiber/matrix interfacial adhesion generated, in-situ, due to interactions between BF and the MAH of the CFPP matrix has been established by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy. Mechanical properties of the BF/CFPP composites developed by Palsule process with in-situ fiber/matrix interfacial adhesion in this study have been found to be higher than those of the matrix and it increases with increasing amounts of fibers in composites, and are better than properties of literature reported BF/polypropylene composites processed with compatibilizers. Measured modulus of BF/CFPP composites compares well with values predicted by rule of mixtures, Hrisch model, Halpin-Tsai equations and its modified Nielsen version, and with Palsule equation. The feasibility of developing natural fiber/MAH grafted polyolefin composites by Palsule process without using any compatibilizer and without any fiber treatment is demonstrated.  相似文献

The large wind turbines blades with multi-ton composite structures are mostly connected to the peach-bearings flanges using T-bolt joints which induce shear and bearing stress fields around the cross bolts. The significant differences between the modulus of elasticity of metallic bolts and composite surrounding materials cause stress concentration around interfaced zones and, also, limit the load capacity of the joints. In the present research, a pseudo functionally graded material (PFGM) as an interlayer is used around the cross bolts to examine the reduction of the stress concentration. Some radial variation of the mechanical properties would be considered for this interlayer. The finite element method is used to analyze the structures. Loadings are applied to the center of the cross bolts analogous to the real cases. Both the static and dynamic loadings are studied. For the finite element of the functionally graded material interlayer, a multilayer alternative material with constant properties in each layer is used. The results show that using an isotropic single layer with an average modulus of elasticity and specific thickness decreases the stress concentration of the composite part up to 47%. The various property models for the interlayer also show that an appropriated model can decrease the stress concentration up to 55%. Dynamic transient analyses would be implemented over the joint structure and improved considering to the practical cases. Using the PFGM interlayer decreases the constant and variable parts of the stresses up to 55% and also causes significant increasing of the joint fatigue life.  相似文献

本文采用完全非线性弹性理论,研究了一类不可压缩橡皮类材料[1]在Ⅰ型荷载作用下的平面应力问题.指出裂尖变形由两个收缩区和一个扩张区三部分组成.裂纹尖端应力、应变分别具有R-1、R-1/n的奇异性,当趋近裂尖时,厚度以R1/4n的方式趋于零,n为材料常数.  相似文献

通过采用水热晶化与荷电复合分散法制备γ-AlOOH、R-TiO2和α-Al2O3纳米晶体粉末,利用TEM和激光粒度分析仪等手段研究了纳米颗粒水热晶化与荷电复合分散的分散效果及其工艺条件,并探讨了金属氧化物纳米颗粒水热晶化与荷电复合分散机理。结果表明,晶化与荷电复合分散可明显改善金属氧化物纳米颗粒在液相中的分散稳定性,所制得的AlOOH、TiO2和Al2O3纳米颗粒在水中分散放置24 h后的透光率的变化率D24还可分别保持为94.1%、87.7%和82.2%;在水中分散后的粒径分布统计的平均粒径分别为67、70和143 nm。  相似文献

研究了炭纤维织物/环氧(CF/EP)复合材料与45#钢在环-环端面干摩擦状态下的摩擦磨损特性,考查了制备工艺和MoS2与石墨不同配比等对CF/EP复合材料干摩擦性能的影响,采用扫描电子显微镜观察复合材料及其偶件磨损表面形貌.结果表明:半干法制备的环氧树脂体积分数为40%的CF/EP复合材料的摩擦系数稳定;纯CF/EP复合材料主要表现为粘着磨损特性;MoS2与石墨改性后复合材料摩擦磨损性能明显改善,质量比为1.5∶1的MoS2与石墨改性CF/EP复合材料具有最佳的摩擦磨损性能,其稳态摩擦系数为0.14~0.15,磨损量3.15×10-5 mg/r.  相似文献

近来,人们在凝聚态体系中发现了由拓扑不变量定义的物相,其中最重要的有拓扑绝缘体、拓扑半金属和拓扑超导体等.这些物相的拓扑性质由非平凡的拓扑数描述,相应的材料被称为拓扑材料,具有诸多新奇的物理特性.其中拓扑超导体由于边界上有满足非阿贝尔统计的Majorana零能模,成为实现拓扑量子计算的主要候选材料.除了探索本征的拓扑超导体外,由于拓扑性质上的相似性,在不超导的拓扑材料中调制出超导自然成为了实现拓扑超导的重要手段.目前,人们发展了栅极调制、掺杂、高压、近邻效应调制和硬针尖点接触等多种技术,已经成功地在许多拓扑绝缘体和半金属中诱导出了超导,并对超导的拓扑性和Majorana零能模进行了研究.本文回顾了本征拓扑超导候选材料,以及拓扑绝缘体和半金属中诱导出超导的代表性工作,评述了不同实验手段的优势和缺陷、分析了其超导拓扑性的证据,并提出展望.  相似文献

The evolution of states of the composition of classical and quantum systems in the groupoid formalism for physical theories introduced recently is discussed. It is shown that the notion of a classical system, in the sense of Birkhoff and von Neumann, is equivalent, in the case of systems with a countable number of outputs, to a totally disconnected groupoid with Abelian von Neumann algebra. The impossibility of evolving a separable state of a composite system made up of a classical and a quantum one into an entangled state by means of a unitary evolution is proven in accordance with Raggio’s theorem, which is extended to include a new family of separable states corresponding to the composition of a system with a totally disconnected space of outcomes and a quantum one.  相似文献

Motor Imagery Electroencephalography (MI-EEG) has shown good prospects in neurorehabilitation, and the entropy-based nonlinear dynamic methods have been successfully applied to feature extraction of MI-EEG. Especially based on Multiscale Fuzzy Entropy (MFE), the fuzzy entropies of the τ coarse-grained sequences in τ scale are calculated and averaged to develop the Composite MFE (CMFE) with more feature information. However, the coarse-grained process fails to match the nonstationary characteristic of MI-EEG by a mean filtering algorithm. In this paper, CMFE is improved by assigning the different weight factors to the different sample points in the coarse-grained process, i.e., using the weighted mean filters instead of the original mean filters, which is conductive to signal filtering and feature extraction, and the resulting personalized Weighted CMFE (WCMFE) is more suitable to represent the nonstationary MI-EEG for different subjects. All the WCMFEs of multi-channel MI-EEG are fused in serial to construct the feature vector, which is evaluated by a back-propagation neural network. Based on a public dataset, extensive experiments are conducted, yielding a relatively higher classification accuracy by WCMFE, and the statistical significance is examined by two-sample t-test. The results suggest that WCMFE is superior to the other entropy-based and traditional feature extraction methods.  相似文献
