Set Systems with L‐Intersections and k‐Wise L‐Intersecting Families

In this paper, by employing linear algebra methods we obtain the following main results:

• (i) Let and be two disjoint subsets of such that Suppose that is a family of subsets of such that for every pair and for every i. Then Furthermore, we extend this theorem to k‐wise L‐intersecting and obtain the corresponding result on two cross L‐intersecting families. These results show that Snevily's conjectures proposed by Snevily (2003) are true under some restricted conditions. This result also gets an improvement of a theorem of Liu and Hwang (2013).
• (ii) Let p be a prime and let and be two subsets of such that or and Suppose that is a family of subsets of [n] such that (1) for every pair (2) for every i. Then This result improves the existing upper bound substantially.

     

Positive solutions for multi‐point boundary value problems of fractional differential equations with p‐Laplacian

This paper investigates the existence of solutions for multi‐point boundary value problems of higher‐order nonlinear Caputo fractional differential equations with p‐Laplacian. Using the five functionals fixed‐point theorem, the existence of multiple positive solutions is proved. An example is also given to illustrate the effectiveness of ourmain result. Approximation by Durrmeyer type Jakimoski–Leviatan operators

In this study, we introduce the Durrmeyer type Jakimoski–Leviatan operators and examine their approximation properties. We study the local approximation properties of these operators. Further, we investigate the convergence of these operators in a weighted space of functions and obtain the approximation properties. A conformal mapping algorithm for the Bernoulli free boundary value problem

We propose a new numerical method for the solution of the Bernoulli free boundary value problem for harmonic functions in a doubly connected domain D in where an unknown free boundary Γ₀ is determined by prescribed Cauchy data on Γ₀ in addition to a Dirichlet condition on the known boundary Γ₁. Our main idea is to involve the conformal mapping method as proposed and analyzed by Akduman, Haddar, and Kress for the solution of a related inverse boundary value problem. For this, we interpret the free boundary Γ₀ as the unknown boundary in the inverse problem to construct Γ₀ from the Dirichlet condition on Γ₀ and Cauchy data on the known boundary Γ₁. Our method for the Bernoulli problem iterates on the missing normal derivative on Γ₁ by alternating between the application of the conformal mapping method for the inverse problem and solving a mixed Dirichlet–Neumann boundary value problem in D. We present the mathematical foundations of our algorithm and prove a convergence result. Some numerical examples will serve as proof of concept of our approach. Periodicity and non‐negativity of solutions for nonlinear neutral differential equations with variable delay via fixed point theorems

We use a modification of Krasnoselskii's fixed point theorem introduced by Burton to show the periodicity and non‐negativity of solutions for the nonlinear neutral differential equation with variable delay We invert this equation to construct the sum of a compact map and a large contraction, which is suitable for applying the modification of Krasnoselskii's theorem. Symmetry analysis of the charged squashed Kaluza–Klein black hole metric

In this research article, a complete analysis of symmetries and conservation laws for the charged squashed Kaluza–Klein black hole space‐time in a Riemannian space is discussed. First, a comprehensive group analysis of the underlying space‐time metric using Lie point symmetries is presented, and then the n‐dimensional optimal system of this space‐time metric, for n = 1,…,4, are computed. It is shown that there is no any n‐dimensional optimal system of Lie symmetry subalgebra associated to the system of geodesic for n≥5. Then the point symmetries of the one‐parameter Lie groups of transformations that leave invariant the action integral corresponding to the Lagrangian that means Noether symmetries are found, and then the conservation laws associated to the system of geodesic equations are calculated via Noether's theorem. Global exponential stability for interval general bidirectional associative memory (BAM) neural networks with proportional delays

This paper is concerned with interval general bidirectional associative memory (BAM) neural networks with proportional delays. Using appropriate nonlinear variable transformations, the interval general BAM neural networks with proportional delays can be equivalently transformed into the interval general BAM neural networks with constant delays. The sufficient condition for the existence and uniqueness of equilibrium point of the model is established by applying Brouwer's fixed point theorem. By constructing suitable delay differential inequalities, some sufficient conditions for the global exponential stability of the model are obtained. Two examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the obtained results. This paper ends with a brief conclusion. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

分别借助解析函数与调和函数两类函数的Dirichlet积分,利用相关文献给定边界值的拟共形映射极值伸缩商的估计方法,通过有限偏差函数和拟共形映射的关系估计了具有给定边界值的有限偏差函数的极值伸缩商.得到了解析函数的Dirichlet积分在有限偏差函数下具有拟不变性,同时给出有限偏差函数极值伸缩商的下界估计.     

Canonical Metrics on Generalized Cartan-Hartogs Domains

In this paper, the author considers a class of bounded pseudoconvex domains,i.e., the generalized Cartan-Hartogs domains Ω(μ, m). The first result is that the natural Khler metric g~(Ω(μ,m)) of Ω(μ, m) is extremal if and only if its scalar curvature is a constant. The second result is that the Bergman metric, the Ka¨hler-Einstein metric, the Carathéodary metric, and the Koboyashi metric are equivalent for Ω(μ, m).     

圆环中的亚纯函数及其导数在重值条件下的一个唯一性定理

In this paper, we first obtain the famous Xiong Inequality of meromorphic functions on annuli. Next we get a uniqueness theorem of meromorphic function on annuli concerning to their multiple values and derivatives by using the inequality.
