System of Generalized Vector Quasi-Equilibrium Problems with Applications to Fixed Point Theorems for a Family of Nonexpansive Multivalued Mappings

In this paper, we establish the existence theorems of the generalized vector quasi-equilibrium problems. From some existence theorem, we establish fixed point theorems for a family of lower semicontinuous or nonexpansive multivalued mappings. We also obtain the existence theorems of system of mixed generalized vector variational-like inequalities and existence theorems of the Debreu vector equilibrium problems and the Nash vector equilibrium problems.

Strong convergence theorems for multi-step Noor iterations with errors in Banach spaces

In this paper, we established two strong convergence theorems for a multi-step Noor iterative scheme with errors for mappings of asymptotically nonexpansive in the intermediate sense(asymptotically quasi-nonexpansive, respectively) in Banach spaces. Our results extend and improve the recent ones announced by Xu and Noor [B.L. Xu, M.A. Noor, Fixed-point iterations for asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 267 (2002) 444-453], Cho, Zhou and Guo [Y.J. Cho, H. Zhou, G. Guo, Weak and strong convergence theorems for three-step iterations with errors for asymptotically nonexpansive mappings, Comput. Math. Appl. 47 (2004) 707-717], and many others.     

Strong convergence theorems of hybrid methods for two asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in Hilbert spaces

In this paper, we introduce two modifications of the Ishikawa iteration, by using the hybrid methods, for asymptotically nonexpansive mappings and asymptotically nonexpansive semigroups in a Hilbert space. Then, we prove that such two sequences converge strongly to common fixed points of two symptotically nonexpansive mappings and asymptotically nonexpansive semigroups, respectively. Our main result is connected with the results of Plubtieng and Ungchittrakool [S. Plubtieng, K. Ungchittrakool, Strong convergence of modified Ishikawa iteration for two asymptotically nonexpansive mappings and semigroups, Nonlinear. Anal. 67(2007) 2306-2315], Martinez-Yanes and Xu [C. Martinez-Yanes, H.K. Xu, Strong convergence of CQ method for fixed point iteration processes, Nonlinear. Anal. 64 (2006) 2400-2411] and many others.     

Some geometric conditions which imply the fixed point property for multivalued nonexpansive mappings

We show some geometric conditions on a Banach space X concerning the modulus of smoothness, the coefficient of weak orthogonality, the coefficient R(a,X), the James constant and the Jordan-von Neumann constant, which imply the existence of fixed points for multivalued nonexpansive mappings. These fixed point theorems improve some previous results and give affirmative answers to some open questions.

The Jordan–von Neumann constants and fixed points for multivalued nonexpansive mappings

The purpose of this paper is to study the existence of fixed points for nonexpansive multivalued mappings in a particular class of Banach spaces. Furthermore, we demonstrate a relationship between the weakly convergent sequence coefficient WCS(X) and the Jordan–von Neumann constant C_NJ(X) of a Banach space X. Using this fact, we prove that if C_NJ(X) is less than an appropriate positive number, then every multivalued nonexpansive mapping has a fixed point where E is a nonempty weakly compact convex subset of a Banach space X, and KC(E) is the class of all nonempty compact convex subsets of E.
