强极大TAF代数的交不可约D-模

本文研究了强极大TAF代数的交不可约D-模的有关性质.利用矩阵单元链的方法,证明了全上三角矩阵代数中任一D-模等于包含它的所有交不可约D-模的交,建立了强极大TAF代数的交不可约D-模与矩阵单元链之间的对应关系,推广了强极大TAF代数中关于理想的若干性质.     

关于一个非线性变分不等式系统的逼近可解性

本文研究了一个包含两个不同松弛强制映像的非线性变分不等式系统的逼近可解性. 利用数值和逼近的方法, 分析了一个新的迭代序列,改进和推广了近年来的一些最新结果.     

与一类奇异积分算子相关的Toeplitz型算子的有界性

对与具有一般核的分数次奇异积分算子相关的Toeplitz型算子,本文证明了其sharp极大函数不等式,作为应用,得到了该算子在Lebesgue空间,Morrey空间和Triebel-Lizorkin空间的有界性.     

Hardy-Littlewood极大函数在加权Orlicz—Morrey空间上的有界性

本文得到了极大函数M_ω)(|f|~p)~1/p和M(f)在加权Orlicz-Morrey空间上的有界性,同时也给出了极大函数M_ω(|f|~p)~1/p在其上有界的必要条件.     

自然增长条件下非线性椭圆方程的全局BMO估计

本文研究自然增长条件下一类具有H?lder连续系数的椭圆方程弱解梯度的全局BMO估计.在系数矩阵A为H?lder连续并满足一致椭圆条件下,利用极大函数方法,获得非线性Calderón-Zygmund型全局BMO估计.     

Phase separation in nematic and smectic a phases

Until recently no example was known with a miscibility gap separating two non-ordered mesophases (i.e.: nematic, smectic A or C) of the same symmetry. In most cases of binary solutions it was observed that either the phase diagram is of the simple eutectic type with quasi ideal behaviour of the mixtures or the liquid crystalline phases are destabilized at the benefit of the isotropic solution (Figure 1). These properties of easy miscibility among mesogens have been long and widely applied at different stages of the study and application of liquid crystals.     

L 1-Convergence for Weighted Sums of Some Dependent Random Variables

In this article, the authors discuss the L ₁-convergence for weighted sums of some dependent random variables under the condition of h-integrability with respect to an array of weights. The dependence structure of the random variables includes pairwise lower case negative dependence and conditions on the mixing coefficient, the maximal correlation coefficient, or the ρ*-mixing coefficient. They prove that all the weighted sums have similar limiting behaviour.     

Monotone first‐order weighted schemes for scalar conservation laws

In this work, we present a monotone first‐order weighted (FORWE) method for scalar conservation laws using a variational formulation. We prove theoretical properties as consistency, monotonicity, and convergence of the proposed scheme for the one‐dimensional (1D) Cauchy problem. These convergence results are extended to multidimensional scalar conservation laws by a dimensional splitting technique. For the validation of the FORWE method, we consider some standard bench‐mark tests of bidimensional and 1D conservation law equations. Finally, we analyze the accuracy of the method with L¹ and L^∞ error estimates. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Numer Methods Partial Differential Eq, 2013     

Finite Groups Whose Second Maximal Subgroups are ℋ-QC-Subgroups

A group G is called an “?-QC-group” if for any element x of order 2 or 4 of G, ?x? ?y? = ?y? ?x? for all y in G. In this article, we investigate the structure of the groups G of the title. Suppose that G is non-2-closed and non-2-nilpotent, then it turns out that such a group is either S ₄ or a uniquely determined group of order 48 or A ₅ or SL(2,5). The corresponding problem for G 2-closed or 2-nilpotent is open but very difficult.
