在辅助方程法的基础上利用两种函数变换和一种双曲函数型辅助方程，通过符号计算系统Mathematica构造了在力学当中一个重要的模型，有5次强非线性项的波方程的新三角函数型和双曲函数型精确孤波解.这种方法寻找其他具5次强非线性项的非线性发展方程的新精确解方面具有普遍意义. 关键词： 双曲函数型辅助方程 函数变换 具5次强非线性项的波方程 精确孤波解     

New Jacobian Elliptic Function Solutions of Modified KdV Equation: Ⅱ

Recently, we obtained thirteen families of Jacobian elliptic function solutions of mKdV equation by usingour extended Jacobian elliptic function expansion method. In this note, the mKdV equation is investigated and anotherthree families of new doubly periodic solutions (Jacobian elliptic function solutions) are fbund again by using a newtransformation, which and our extended Jacobian elliptic function expansion method form a new method still called theextended Jacobian elliptic function expansion method. The new method can be more powertul to be applied to othernonlinear differential equations.     

Fluorescence line narrowed spectra of Zn and metal-free cytochrome c

Fluorescence line narrowing (FLN) spectroscopy was used to study the role of the polypeptide chain in influencing the spectrum of Zn-substituted cytochrome c (Zn cyt c) and metal-free cyt c (porphyrin cyt c). For both derivatives the spectra show characteristics of relaxed fluorescence from an inhomogeneously broadened sample. Zero phonon lines and phonon wings can be clearly distinguished, and vibrational frequencies of the ground and excited states were identified. The inhomogeneous distribution width for porphyrin cyt c is slightly wider than that of Zn cyt c and a second population of molecules was apparent in the porphyrin cyt c. The phonon coupling was greater for Zn cyt c than for porphyrin cyt c, which may be due to the extra coupling to the polypeptide chain by metal ligation.This work has been done in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Doctor of Philosophy degree.     

Calculated elastic constants of dilute alloys based on bcc metals

The elastic constants of dilute alloys based on bcc metals have been calculated using the Green’s function method obtaining explicit expressions for change in elastic constants in terms oft-matrix. The crystal impurity problem is discussed within an impurity model containing central and non-central force constant changes extended up to second neighbours of the impurity. The effect of volume change on elastic constants and a contribution from electron pressure term are considered. Numerical results for changes in three elastic moduli have been presented for a number of dilute alloys based on Mo, Nb, W, Ta and V.     

The measurement of subcritical electroconvection

Under idealized conditions, electroconvection in a nematic liquid crystal sets in at a well-defined threshold of the driving ac voltage. Fluctuating convection rolls of a small amplitude below that threshold have been observed recently. The measurement of the amplitude of these fluctuations is described in detail in this paper. It is based on averaging the light intensity signals using the structure function and a quantitative analysis of the light deflection.     

High-density properties of hard spheres within a modified Percus-Yevick theory: The role of thermodynamic consistency

Using an integral-equation approach based upon an approximation for the tail function, the equilibrium properties of a system of hard spheres are studied with special concern for the behavior in the region of close packing. The closure adopted is such that full, internal consistency is ensured in the thermodynamics of the model with respect to both the two zero-separation theorems as well as to the more standard virial and fluctuation routes to the equation of state. The scheme also makes use of the continuity properties of the tail function and of the cavity distribution function at contact. These properties are explictly tested in the low-density limit up to the fourth derivative. The theory generates an equilibrium branch bounded on the high-density side by a point corresponding to a packing fraction0.78, a value which closely matches Rogers' least upper bound for the densest packing of spheres. The pair structure of the fluid in the state of random close packing is also compared to the type of local order predicted by the theory at similar densities.     

Coding of Gibbs function flows from nucleotide pools

The biochemical machinery of living systems obeys kinetic laws, but is driven by Gibbs function flows. Both the kinetic and thermodynamic aspects of Gibbs gain, transmission, and utilization are considered. An information-theoretic approach is used to find conditions under which the kinetics encodes the associated Gibbs function flow with the lowest possible error.     

高速电视摄象系统的象质评价和动态计测精度

本文对高速摄象系统(包括电视摄象系统和光机式摄象系统)的象质评价方法予以讨论,并用实验方法对目前广泛使用的Kodak SP-2000、NAC HSV-200等高速电视摄象系统及我们自己开发的一维扫描电视摄象系统的象质,在新的定义下给出了评价,对它们的动态精度作了对比性测试,同时和光机式高速摄象系统作了比较。     

固体的热膨胀系数

 本文由Grüneisen第二定则出发，采用普适能量函数作为原子间相互作用势能函数，计算立方晶体金属元素和几种NaCl型结构的碱卤晶体的线膨胀系数。计算值与实验值符合得很好。     

1.5MeV LIA脉冲功率系统

本文简要介绍了1.5MeV LIA脉冲功率系统的结构、组成和设计思想;给出了开关运行参数和确定开关时间抖动指标的方法、闭环系统的总抖动对加速电压相对变化的影响、脉冲功率系统各段输出波形和电压幅度的调制关系;测量结果表明,1.5MeV LIA的运行功率和时间同步满足总体设计要求。
