Legendre-transform structure derived from quantum theorems

By recourse to (i) the Hellmann-Feynman theorem and (ii) the virial one, the information-optimizing principle based on Fisher’s information measure uncovers a Legendre-transform structure associated with Schrödinger’s equation, in close analogy with the structure that lies behind the standard thermodynamical formalism. The present developments provide new evidence for the information theoretical links based on Fisher’s measure that exist between Schrödinger’s equation, on the one hand, and thermodynamics/thermostatistics on the other hand.     

Spinor Green’s functions via spherical means on products of space forms

We explicitly compute the Green’s function of the spinor Klein–Gordon equation on the Riemannian and Lorentzian manifolds of the form _M0×?×_MN$M_0\times ?\times M_N$, with each factor being a space of constant sectional curvature. Our approach is based on an extension of the method of spherical means to the case of spinor fields and on the use of Riesz distributions.     

Linearization of vector fields and embedding of diffeomorphisms in flows via Nash–Moser theorem

In the first part of this paper we give suitable spectral properties of the adjoint operators induced by appropriate perturbations of some hyperbolic linear vector fields. These properties are useful to prove general facts based on the Nash–Moser inverse function theorem. In the second part of this work we study circumstances where a global linearization of a vector field X$X$ in a real numerical space is feasible and where some diffeomorphisms which are close to exp(X)$exp\left(X\right)$ can be embedded in a flow.     

Nonstandard second-order arithmetic and Riemannʼs mapping theorem

In this paper, we introduce systems of nonstandard second-order arithmetic which are conservative extensions of systems of second-order arithmetic. Within these systems, we do reverse mathematics for nonstandard analysis, and we can import techniques of nonstandard analysis into analysis in weak systems of second-order arithmetic. Then, we apply nonstandard techniques to a version of Riemannʼs mapping theorem, and show several different versions of Riemannʼs mapping theorem.     

Fixed point theorems in piecewise continuous function spaces and applications to some nonlinear problems

The piecewise continuous function space is an important state space in various nonlinear problems. In this paper, we establish some new fixed point theorems for the perturbed contraction operators in piecewise continuous function spaces. Our results can be applied to various integral operators. Some previous results are improved in this literature. As applications, the existence and uniqueness of solutions of impulsive anti‐periodic boundary value problems and the Lasota–Wazewska models with delays are exhibited at last two sections. ON A KAHLER VERSION OF CHEEGER-GROMOLL-PERELMAN＇S SOUL THEOREM

In this note, we will prove a Kahler version of Cheeger-Gromoll-Perelman＇s soul theorem, only assuming the sectional curvature is nonnegative and bisectional curvature is positive at one point.     

APPROXIMATION BY WALSH-KACZMARZ-FEJ ′ER MEANS ON THE HARDY SPACE

The main aim of this paper is to find necessary and sufficient conditions for the convergence of Walsh-Kaczmarz-Fej′er means in the terms of the modulus of continuity on the Hardy spaces Hp, when 0〈p≤1/2.     

四阶椭圆方程的弱解(英文)

本文研究了一个四阶椭圆方程解的存在性问题.利用山路定理和喷泉定理,结合变分方法,获得了该问题弱解的几个存在性定理,推广了现有的一些结果.     

Dilations for systems of imprimitivity acting on Banach spaces

Motivated by a general dilation theory for operator-valued measures, framings and bounded linear maps on operator algebras, we consider the dilation theory of the above objects with special structures. We show that every operator-valued system of imprimitivity has a dilation to a probability spectral system of imprimitivity acting on a Banach space. This completely generalizes a well-known result which states that every frame representation of a countable group on a Hilbert space is unitarily equivalent to a subrepresentation of the left regular representation of the group. We also prove that isometric group representation induced framings on a Banach space can be dilated to unconditional bases with the same structure for a larger Banach space. This extends several known results on the dilations of frames induced by unitary group representations on Hilbert spaces.
