本文证明了常系数一阶中立型微分方程的一个新的振动定理,推广和改进了文献中的若干结果.     

带阻尼项的三阶脉冲微分方程的振动性与渐近性

解决了一类带阻尼项的三阶脉冲微分方程的非振动解与其一阶、二阶导数的符号关系,用迭代法得到其振动性与渐近性的判别准则,并举例说明准则的有效性.     

DYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS IN INCOMPRESSIBLE HYPERELASTIC CYLINDRICAL MEMBRANES

In this paper, the dynamic characteristics are examined for a cylindrical membrane composed of a transversely isotropic incompressible hyperelastic material under an applied uniform radial constant pressure at its inner surface. A second-order nonlinear ordinary differential equation that approximately describes the radial oscillation of the inner surface of the membrane with respect to time is obtained. Some interesting conclusions are proposed for different materials, such as the neo-Hookean material, the Mooney-Rivlin material and the Rivlin-Saunders material. Firstly, the bifurcation conditions depending on the material parameters and the pressure loads are determined. Secondly, the conditions of periodic motion are presented in detail for membranes composed of different materials. Meanwhile, numerical simulations are also provided.     

Ocean internal waves interpreted as oscillation travelling waves in consideration of ocean dissipation

Most studies of the synthetic aperture radar remote sensing of ocean internal waves are based on the solitary wave solutions of the Korteweg-de Vries （KdV） equation, and the dissipative term in the KdV equation is not taken into account. However, the dissipative term is very important, both in the synthetic aperture radar images and in ocean models. In this paper, the traveling-wave structure to characterize the ocean internal wave phenomenon is modeled, the results of numerical experiments are advanced, and a theoretical hypothesis of the traveling wave to retrieve the ocean internal wave parameters in the synthetic aperture radar images is introduced.     

Structural, electronic and optical properties of SrCl2 under hydrostatic stress

The results of first-principles theoretical study of the structural, electronic and optical properties of SrCl₂ in its cubic structure, have been performed using the full-potential linear augmented plane-wave method plus local orbitals (FP-APW+lo) as implemented in the WIEN2k code. In this approach both the local density approximation (LDA) and the generalized gradient approximation (GGA) are used for the exchange-correlation (XC) potential. Also we have used the Engel-Vosko GGA formalism, which optimizes the corresponding potential for band structure calculations. We performed these calculations with and without spin-orbit interactions. Including spin-orbit coupling cause to lifts the triple degeneracy at Γ point and a double degeneracy at X point. Results are given for structural properties. The pressure dependence of elastic constants and band gaps are investigated. The dielectric function, reflectivity spectra and refractive index are calculated up to 30 eV. Also we calculated the pressure and volume dependence of the static optical dielectric constant.

Oscillation and Nonoscillation of Higher Order Self-Adjoint Differential Equations

Oscillation and nonoscillation criteria for the higher order self-adjoint differential equation (-1)ⁿ(t^alphay⁽ⁿ⁾)⁽ⁿ⁾+q(t)y = 0 (*) are established. In these criteria, equation (*) is viewed as a perturbation of the conditionally oscillatory equation (-1)ⁿ(t^alphay⁽ⁿ⁾)⁽ⁿ⁾ - µ,t^2n-y = 0, where _n, is the critical constant in conditional oscillation. Some open problems in the theory of conditionally oscillatory, even order, self-adjoint equations are also discussed.     

Global Attractivity of the Equilibrium of a Nonlinear Difference Equation

The authors consider the nonlinear difference equation x_n+1=x_n+x_n-kf(x_n-k),n=0,1,(0.1) where (0,1), k 0,1, and f C¹[[0,), [0,)] with f(x) < 0.They give sufficient conditions for the unique positive equilibrium of (0.1) to be a global attractor of all positive solutions. The results here are somewhat easier to apply than those of other authors. An application to a model of blood cell production is given.
