The convenient route for the synthesis of a series of new Isoindoline-1, 3-dione/phthalimide analogues by condensation of substituted phthalic anhydride with an appropriate Ar-amine is described. Selective phthalimide derivatives were evaluated for their preliminary biological activities against Gram-positive, Gram-negative and fungi strains. These encouraging results could be helpful for the development of new antibacterial or antifungal agents.  相似文献

Cationic triangulenes, and related helicenes, constitute a rich class of dyes and fluorophores, usually absorbing and emitting light at low energy, in the orange to red domains. Recently, to broaden the scope of applications, regioselective late-stage functionalizations on these core moieties have been developed. For instance, with the introduction of electron-donating groups (EDGs), important bathochromic shifts are observed pushing absorptions towards or in the near-infrared (NIR) spectral domain while emissive properties disappear essentially completely. Herein, to upset this drawback, acetylene derivatives of cationic diazaoxa triangulenes (DAOTA) and [4]helicenes are prepared (16 examples). Contrary to other EDG-functionalized derivatives, C≡C− functionalized products remain broadly fluorescent, with red-shifted absorptions (Δλabs up to 25 nm) and emissions (Δλem up to 73 nm, ΦPL up to 51 %). Quite interestingly, a general dynamic stereoisomerism phenomenon is evidenced for the compounds derived from achiral DAOTA cores. At low temperature in 1H NMR spectroscopy (218 K), N−CH2 protons become diastereotopic with chemical shifts differences (Δδ) as high as +1.64 ppm. The signal coalescence occurs around 273 K with a barrier of ∼12 kcal mol−1. This phenomenon is due to planar chiral conformations (Sp and Rp configurations), induced by the geometry of the alkyl (n-propyl) side-chains next to the acetylenic substituents. Ion pairing studies with Δ-TRISPHAT anion not only confirm the occurrence of the chiral conformations but evidence a moderate but definite asymmetric induction from the chiral anion onto the cations. Finally, DFT calculations offer a valuable insight on the geometries, the corresponding stereodynamics and also on the very large difference in NMR for some of the diastereotopic protons.  相似文献

High-speed holographic microscopy is applied to take three successive photographs of fast propagating cracks in Homalite 100 or in Araldite B at the moment of bifurcation. Crack speed at bifurcation is about 540 m/s on Homalite 100, and about 450 m/s on Araldite B. From the photographs, crack speeds immediately before and after bifurcation are obtained, and it is found that discontinuous change of crack speed does not exist at the moment of bifurcation in the case of Homalite 100, but exists in the case of Araldite B. From the photographs, crack opening displacement (COD) is also measured along the cracks as a function of distance r from the crack tips. The measurement results show that the CODs are proportional to √r before bifurcation. After bifurcation, the CODs of mother cracks are proportional to √r, though the CODs of branch cracks are not always proportional to √r. The energy release rate is obtained from the measured CODs, and it is found that energy release rate is continuous at bifurcation point in both cases of Homalite 100 and Araldite B. Energy flux that shows the energy flow toward a crack tip is also obtained.  相似文献

Assuming that the disc material can be modeled either as Mooney–Rivlin or as Hookean and the steel ring enclosing the disc as Hookean, the energy release rates as a function of the crack length are evaluated and compared. Two loadings are considered––one in which the surface of the star shape hole in the disc is loaded by a uniform pressure and the other in which the temperature of the composite body is uniformly raised. It is found that the linear and the nonlinear analyses give qualitatively similar results for the two loadings. For each load, the energy release rate increases with an increase in the starter crack length, reaches a maximum value and then decreases gradually.  相似文献

This study is concerned with the modeling of interphases in elastic media in general, and in composite materials in particular. The aim is to replace a boundary value problem consisting of a three-phase configuration, say that of fiber-interphase-matrix, by a simpler problem which involves the fiber and matrix only, plus certain matching conditions which simulate the interphase. The simplest of such known representations replaces a thin interphase by a “perfect contact interface” (a single surface) across which the displacements and tractions are assumed to be continuous. Another classical model replaces a thin and soft interphase by a “spring-type interface”, across which the tractions are continuous, but the displacement field undergoes a discontinuity. In the present paper, a Cosserat shell model of the interphase is derived which successfully models the original interphase in a unified manner, for the full range of its material parameters relative to those of the neighboring media. The model is derived in the setting of three-dimensional linear elasticity with small deformations and displacements. Comparisons with an existing exact solution of a coated fiber in an infinite matrix show that it performs extremely well even for moderately thick interphases.  相似文献

The velocity and the rate of decay of a strain wave in a layer of a viscoelastic material rigidly fixed on a solid foundation are determined. The wave structure (ratio of the longitudinal to the transverse displacement) and the profiles of these displacements are analyzed. Attenuation of waves in the first mode is found to be more significant than that in an infinite space. The most intense decay is observed at resonance frequencies. A strong effect of compressibility of the medium on wave parameters is revealed. Conditions at which such a system operates as a waveguide are found. This paper reports results of experiments in which a steadystate nonuniform supercritical openchannel flow was suddenly blocked by a rapidly falling gate at a downstream distance of about one hundred critical depths. This results in a hydraulic jump propagating upstream. Experimental data on the shape, height, and propagation speed of its leading front are given. It is shown that the parameters of the jump differ significantly from the values found using a quasistationary approach.  相似文献

We investigate experimentally -phage and T2-coliphage DNA molecules near both non-adsorbing glass and adsorbing 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTES)-coated glass surfaces in a simple steady shearing flow generated by a torsional flow cell. The DNA molecular deformations near the surface are found to be considerably weaker than in bulk flow at the same shear rate. This affects the DNA molecules deposition and stretching on the adsorbing surface. Surprisingly, for a simple shearing flow in the torsional shearing device, the observed stretch, for molecules both near (<10 µm) the surface and adsorbed to it, is much less than predicted by simulations.  相似文献

Prior experiments have revealed exceptionally high values of the work of fracture (0.4-) in carbon/epoxy 3D interlock woven composites. Detailed destructive examination of specimens suggested that much of the work of fracture arose when the specimens were strained well beyond the failure of individual tows yet still carried loads . A mechanism of lockup amongst broken tows sliding across the final tensile fracture surface was suggested as the means by which high loads could still be transferred after tow failure. In this paper, the roles of weave architecture and the distribution of flaws in the mechanics of tow lockup are investigated by Monte Carlo simulations using the so-called Binary Model. The Binary Model was introduced previously as a finite element formulation specialised to the problem of simulating relatively large, three-dimensional segments of textile composites, without any assumption of periodicity or other symmetry, while preserving the architecture and topology of the tow arrangement. The simulations succeed in reproducing all qualitative aspects of measured stress-strain curves. They reveal that lockup can indeed account for high loads being sustained beyond tow failure, provided flaws in tows have certain spatial distributions. The importance of the interlock architecture in enhancing friction by holding asperities on sliding fibre tows into firm contact is highlighted.  相似文献
