In order to bring out the nature of the factors influencing lake water composition, multivariate statistical analysis and trend analysis were performed based on the hydrochemical data of the study area, namely, South Chennai. Change in land use pattern and settlements along the banks of the lakes alters the quality and quantity of the surface water. In the present study, the R‐mode factor analysis and cluster analysis were applied to the geochemical parameters of the water to identify the factors affecting the chemical composition of the lake water. Dendograms of both the seasons give three major clusters, reflecting the groups of unpolluted to moderately polluted, polluted, and heavily polluted stations. The movement of stations from one cluster to another clearly brings out the seasonal variation in the chemical composition of the lake water. The complex hydrochemical data of the surface water were interpreted by condensing them into three major factors. Factor score analysis was used successfully to delineate the stations under study and the role of the contributing factors, and the nature of factors responsible for the variation in chemical composition of the water has been clearly brought out. Results of trend analysis using ArcGIS clearly indicate that the trend in water quality is deteriorating at a faster rate in the eastern part of the study area. It is understood that although natural shifts probably can account for some of the variation, it is most likely that human activities play a major role in affecting the water quality on a regional scale. The cure kinetics of epoxy based on the diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A (DGEBA) modified with different amounts of poly(acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene) (ABS) and cured with 4,4′-diaminodiphenylsulfone (DDS) was investigated by employing differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The curing reaction was followed by using an isothermal approach over the temperature range 150–180°C. The amount of ABS in the blends was 3.6, 6.9, 10 and 12.9 wt%. Blending of ABS in the epoxy monomer did not change the reaction mechanism of the epoxy network formation, but the reaction rate seems to be decreased with the addition of the thermoplastic. A phenomenological kinetic model was used for kinetic analysis. Activation energies and kinetic parameters were determined by fitting the kinetic model with experimental data. Diffusion control was incorporated to describe the cure in the latter stages, predicting the cure kinetics over the whole range of conversion. The reaction rates for the epoxy blends were found to be lower than that of the neat epoxy. The reaction rates decreased when the ABS contents was increased, due to the dilution effect caused by the ABS on the epoxy/amine reaction mixture.  相似文献

Redox initiated free‐radical polymerization of methyl methacrylate (MMA) with allyl alcohol 1,2‐butoxylate‐block‐etoxylate (AABE) was carried out to yield AABE‐b‐PMMA copolymers at elevated temperatures. The composition of the copolymers depending on the polymerization temperature was qualitatively estimated by the dielectric measurements. It has been seen that AABE segment quantity decreased and PMMA segment quantity increased with increasing the polymerization temperature. The dielectric constant and the dissipation factor of the copolymers were investigated as a function of frequency and temperature. The dielectric constant and the dissipation factor were found to be strongly affected by the polymerization temperature. The highest dielectric constant in all studied temperatures and frequencies was obtained in the case of the copolymer which was prepared at 313 K. The dipolar C‐O and OH groups of the AABE segment have the primary effect on the dielectric constant. The copolymer which was prepared at 323 K, showed the highest dissipation factor near the relaxation temperature of PMMA.  相似文献

黄渤海近岸海域酚类内分泌干扰物分布特征及其来源解析   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
在黄渤海近岸海域采集了34个水体样品,利用HPLC-MS/MS分析了双酚A、辛基酚、壬基酚、2,4-二氯酚、对叔丁基苯酚和对特辛基苯酚等6种酚类内分泌干扰物的含量,并探讨了其分布特征及来源.结果表明,中国北部近岸海域6种酚类内分泌干扰物的含量范围在5.25~1351.20ng/mL之间.结合因子分析和层次聚类分析结果,说明渤海、黄海近岸海域中酚类化合物主要以辛基酚、壬基酚、2,4-二氯酚为主,局部海域伴有双酚A的高残留;从整个海域范围看,黄渤海近岸海域水体中酚类化合物污染状况具有区域特征,整体呈现出南高北低的特点,且酚类物质分布具有明显的地区特性,一定程度上具有聚集性;来源解析结果表明黄渤海近岸海域中酚类内分泌干扰物主要来源为生活污水和工业废水.  相似文献

为探明土壤中硝态氮测定的影响因素,采用黑土、潮土、红壤为材料,研究样品的保存方法、浸提剂种类、分析方法、实验用水及试剂纯度对土壤中硝态氮测定的影响。结果表明,测定土壤硝态氮时,土样在冷冻条件下保存优于冷藏条件。冷冻条件下保存可在45 d内完成测试,而冷藏保存则需在7 d内完成测试。采用0.01 mol/L CaCl2和2 mol/L KCl为浸提剂时,对土壤中硝态氮的测定结果无显著差异。紫外比色法的测定结果与林业标准法(LY/T1230-1999)相比无显著差异,但显著高于流动注射法,且紫外比色法与流动注射法之间有显著相关性。流动注射法的测定结果与林业标准法相比也无显著差异。实验用水的杂质可使土壤中硝态氮的测定结果显著偏高,对其进行加热煮沸、蒸馏及无氨化蒸馏后可显著降低水中杂质的含量。  相似文献

The paper presents a new method based on simultaneous derivatization and air-assisted liquid–liquid microextraction (AALLME) for the extraction and preconcentration of some aliphatic amines prior to gas chromatography-flame ionization detection (GC-FID). Primary aliphatic amines are derivatized and extracted simultaneously by a fast reaction with butylchloroformate (derivatization agent/extraction solvent) under mild conditions. The mixture of butylchloroformate and aqueous sample solution is rapidly sucked into a 10-mL glass syringe and then is injected into a test tube with conical bottom and the procedure is repeated seven times. After centrifuging the resulted cloudy solution, the derivatized analytes in the sedimented phase are determined by GC-FID. The influence of main factors on the efficiency of derivatization/extraction procedure is studied. Under the optimal conditions, the enrichment factors (EFs) for aliphatic amines are obtained in the range of 248–360 and limits of detection (LODs) are between 0.30 and 2.6 μg L−1. The obtained extraction recoveries ranged from 50 to 72% and the relative standard deviation (RSD) was less than 4.8% for intra-day (n = 6) and inter-days (n = 4) precision. The method is successfully applied to determine some aliphatic amines in environmental water samples.  相似文献
