We report the realization of a novel all-optical logic AND-NOR gate based on cross-gain modulation (XGM). The used scheme requires only one SOA to perform the logic gate with three input signals. A 8.5 dB dynamic extinction ratio with a switching time of about 650 ps for the rise time and 100 ps for the fall time.  相似文献

利用大气闪烁的时间平滑效应,增加光电探测器曝光时间是克服大气闪烁对大气光通信的瞄准、捕获、跟踪链路影响的有效途径之一.基于科尔莫戈罗夫谱,导出了弱湍流起伏区无限平面波和球面波的大气闪烁时间平滑因子的一般表达式,并且用几何光学近似得到了在大孔径和小孔径接收情况下的时间平滑因子近似表达式.在孔径远大于菲涅耳区尺度时,平面波和球面波的时间平滑因子的近似表达式与精确表达式的误差分别小于6%和3%.分析结果表明,孔径越小,时间平滑效应越显著,并且菲涅耳区尺度对时间平滑效应影响的程度也随着孔径的增加而减弱.  相似文献

The coexistence of radar-sensing and communication systems research has received a surge of interest in recent times to tackle the issue of spectrum inadequacy. Designing an optimized radar waveform for a coexistence scenario has been a challenging task for accomplishing the convergence of radar-sensing and communication functionalities, without degrading the performance at either end. This paper proposes a novel global optimization-based Spatial Branch and Bound (SBnB) approach to optimize the phase coefficients of a Non-Linear Frequency Modulated (NLFM) waveform in a CRCS framework. In addition, the Modified-Power Ratio Constraint-Cramér–Rao Lower Bound (M-PRC-CRLB), a local optimization-based approach is proposed to optimize the phase coefficients of an NLFM waveform. The spectral energy distribution and auto-correlation characteristics of an NLFM waveform are comprehensively investigated for various values of polynomial order (N) and at different threshold Signal-to-Noise-Ratio (SNR) values. To compare the proposed waveform design approaches (M-PRC-CRLB, SBnB) with the existing waveform design approaches namely, Minimum Estimation Error Variance (MEEV) and PRC- CRLB, a Peak-to-Side-Lobe-Ratio (PSLR), and Integrated-Side-Lobe-Ratio (ISLR) are evaluated at various polynomial orders and threshold SNR values. Furthermore, the performance of a CRCS is assessed using the radar estimation rate and communication data rate. The simulation results reveal that the proposed optimized radar waveform design approaches provide improved performance compared to the existing radar waveform design approaches in terms of radar estimation rate. Further, the proposed global optimization-based SBnB approach achieves a comparable performance of the communication data rate. In addition, the proposed approaches accomplish enhanced spectral utilization, controlled side-lobe energy levels, reduced range-domain ambiguities, and a higher information rate in a CRCS.  相似文献

Magnetic induction (MI) communication is an effective scheme for underwater wireless communication. In this paper, we aim to design an underwater MI communication system based on Quasi-cyclic LDPC (QC-LDPC) codes. Firstly, for a given QC-LDPC code used in underwater MI communication, we propose a novel algorithm to evaluate its performance, which is named as underwater magnetic induction protograph (UWMIP) extrinsic information transfer algorithm. Furthermore, we present a differential evolution UWMIP (DE-UWMIP) algorithm, which incorporates the differential evolution method and the UWMIP algorithm. By this algorithm, we search the optimized QC-LDPC codes with best distance threshold. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is effective and provide a good guidance to design the underwater MI communication system.  相似文献

This paper proposes a transmission structure of zero forcing (ZF) receiver for uplink cell-free massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems with device-to-device (D2D) communications, followed by a rate analysis. We assumed that D2D users (DUEs) can utilize orthogonal radio resources to improve the efficiency of the scarce utilization or repurpose the time–frequency-spectrum resources currently used by the cell-free users (CFUEs). Assuming that the imperfect channel state information (CSI) is realizable, after that, the use-and-forget bounding technique is then used to respectively obtain the closed-form expressions of the CFUEs and DUEs, which provide the lower bounds on the ergodic approximate realizable rate of both communication links. First, we calculate the minimum-mean-square error (MMSE) estimation for all channels. Then, the derived results of the achievable uplink sum rate provide us with a tool that enables us to explain how some important parameters, such as the number of access points (APs)/CFUEs, each AP/CFUE/antenna, and the density of DUEs, affect system performance, highlighting the significance of cooperation between cell-free massive MIMO and D2D communication.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a cache-enable device-to-device (D2D) communication network with user mobility and design a mobility-aware coded caching scheme to exploit multicasting opportunities for reducing network traffic. In addition to the static cache memory that can be used to reap coded caching gains, we assign a dynamic cache memory to mobile users such that users who never meet can still exchange contents via relaying. We consider content exchange as an information flow among dynamic cache memories of mobile users and leverage network coding to reduce network traffic. Specifically, we transfer our storage and broadcast problem into a network coding problem. By solving the formulated network coding problem, we obtain a dynamic content replacement and broadcast strategy. Numerical results verify that our algorithm significantly outperforms the random and greedy algorithms in terms of the amount of broadcasting data, and the standard Ford–Fulkerson algorithm in terms of the successful decoding ratio.  相似文献

In this paper, a new non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) scheme is proposed for the reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) assisted high-capacity visible light communication (VLC) system, which is named hybrid domain multiple access (HDMA). HDMA enjoys the benefit of hybrid-domain signals, including the power domain, code domain, and frequency domain, where the message passing algorithm (MPA) and successive interference cancellation (SIC) detectors are jointly used at the HDMA receiver. Furthermore, to achieve a higher communication capacity for the VLC system, we proposed an optimization model by jointly optimizing the power allocation ratio and RIS reflection units. The simulation results verified the proposed scheme. By comparing the system capacity of different RIS allocation schemes and multiple access methods, the VLC system based on HDMA proposed in this paper can significantly improve its communication capacity.  相似文献

Entangled photon pairs must often be spatially separated for their subsequent manipulation in integrated quantum circuits. Separation that is both deterministic and universal can in principle be achieved through anti‐coalescent two‐photon quantum interference. However, such interference‐facilitated pair separation (IFPS) has not been extensively studied in the integrated setting, which has important implications on performance. This work provides a detailed review of IFPS and examines how integrated device dependencies such as dispersion impact separation fidelity and interference visibility. The analysis applies equally to both on‐chip and in‐fiber implementations. When coupler dispersion is present, the separation performance can depend on photon bandwidth, spectral entanglement and the dispersion. By design, reduction in the separation fidelity due to loss of non‐classical interference can be perfectly compensated for by classical wavelength demultiplexing effects. This work informs the design of devices for universal photon pair separation of states with tunable arbitrary properties.

对室内终端进行基于无线通信基站的三维定位时,由于无线电在传播过程中,存在建筑物或树木遮挡、反射、折射等物理现象,导致基站到终端传播时间的测量值与精确值之间存在误差.为了减少上述误差对定位精度的影响,运用无线定位原理建立了一种基于校正无线电传播时间的改进的室内三维定位模型.通过对2016年全国研究生数学建模问题C题所提供的不同场景的数据分析,发现基站与终端无线电传播时间的测量值与其精确值之间存在线性关系,而且同一场景下近似有相同的线性关系,场景不同线性关系一般不同.基于这一现象,对基本的定位模型进行了合理的修正形成了改进的定位模型,数值实验表明改进的定位模型有很好的定位精度和鲁棒性.  相似文献

This study investigates young students’ writing in connection to mathematical problem solving. Students’ written communication has traditionally been used by mathematics teachers in the assessment of students’ mathematical knowledge. This study rests on the notion that this writing represents a particular activity which requires a complex set of resources. In order to help students develop their writing, teachers need to have a thorough knowledge of mathematical writing and its distinctive features. The study aims to add to the body of knowledge about writing in school mathematics by investigating young students’ mathematical writing from a communicational, rather than mathematical, perspective. A basic inventory of the communicational choices, that are identifiable across a sample of 519 mathematical texts, produced by 9–12 year old students, is created. The texts have been analysed with multimodal discourse analysis, and the findings suggest diversity in students’ use of images, words, numerals, symbols and layout to organize their texts and to represent their problem-solving process along with an answer to the problem. The inventory and the indication that students have different ideas on how, what, for whom and why they should be writing, can be used by teachers to initiate discussions of what may constitute good communication.  相似文献
