A note on envelopes of homotopies

In this article, we deal with the notion of the envelopes of homotopies which is the generalized version of functional envelopes in discrete dynamical systems. We prove the stability for envelopes of homotopies in complete normed algebra and we get the stabilities of the derivation and the extended derivation for the notion in the spaces.     

Analytical Approach to Fractional Zakharov-Kuznetsov Equations by He＇s Homotopy Perturbation Method

The aim of this paper is to obtain the approximate analytical solution of a fractional Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation by using homotopy perturbation method （HPM）. The fractional derivatives are described in the Caputo sense. Several examples are given and the results are compared to exact solutions. The results reveal that the method is very effective and simple.

Properties of four partial orders on standard Young tableaux

Let SYTn be the set of all standard Young tableaux with n cells. After recalling the definitions of four partial orders, the weak, KL, geometric and chain orders on SYTn and some of their crucial properties, we prove three main results:

Intervals in any of these four orders essentially describe the product in a Hopf algebra of tableaux defined by Poirier and Reutenauer.

The map sending a tableau to its descent set induces a homotopy equivalence of the proper parts of all of these orders on tableaux with that of the Boolean algebra ²[n−1]. In particular, the Möbius function of these orders on tableaux is (−1)ⁿ⁻³.

•

For two of the four orders, one can define a more general order on skew tableaux having fixed inner boundary, and similarly analyze their homotopy type and Möbius function.

     

A new HPM for ordinary differential equations

In this paper, we introduce a new version of the homotopy perturbation method (NHPM) that efficiently solves linear and non‐linear ordinary differential equations. Several examples, including Euler‐Lagrange, Bernoulli and Ricatti differential equations, are given to demonstrate the efficiency of the new method. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 非线性互补问题的组合同伦算法

针对拟P_*-映射和P(τ,α,β)-映射所对应的非线性互补问题,本文对其解的存在性及有效求解算法进行了研究.文中利用组合同伦方法给出了这两类非线性互补问题存在有界解的构造性证明,并利用预估校正方法对同伦路径进行跟踪,得到了互补问题的解.通过数值算例验证了该算法的有效性.     

A proof of the homotopy push-out and pull-back lemma

The homotopy push-out and pull-back lemma of Iwase (1998) is a generalized version of Theorem 1.1 of Ganea (1965) and the Theorem of Rutter (1971) whose proofs were given under the simply-connectivity condition. The purpose of this paper is to give a proof in the general case.

     

Flow of micropolar fluid between two orthogonally moving porous disks

The unsteady,laminar,incompressible,and two-dimensional flow of a micropolar fluid between two orthogonally moving porous coaxial disks is considered.The extension of von Karman’s similarity transformations is used to reduce the governing partial differential equations(PDEs) to a set of non-linear coupled ordinary differential equations(ODEs) in the dimensionless form.The analytical solutions are obtained by employing the homotopy analysis method(HAM).The effects of various physical parameters such as the expansion ratio and the permeability Reynolds number on the velocity fields are discussed in detail.     

Conformable variational iteration method,conformable fractional reduced differential transform method and conformable homotopy analysis method for non-linear fractional partial differential equations

In this paper, we introduce conformable variational iteration method (C-VIM), conformable fractional reduced differential transform method (CFRDTM) and conformable homotopy analysis method (C-HAM). Between these methods, the C-VIM is introduced for the first time for fractional partial differential equations (FPDEs). These methods are new versions of well-known VIM, RDTM and HAM. In addition, above-mentioned techniques are based on new defined conformable fractional derivative to solve linear and non-linear conformable FPDEs. Firstly, we present some basic definitions and general algorithm for proposal methods to solve linear and non-linear FPDEs. Secondly, to understand better, the presented new methods are supported by some examples. Finally, the obtained results are illustrated by the aid of graphics and the tables. The applications show that these new techniques C-VIM, CFRDTM and C-HAM are extremely reliable and highly accurate and it provides a significant improvement in solving linear and non-linear FPDEs.
