Calculating the branch points of the eigenvalues of the Coulomb spheroidal wave equation

A method for computing the eigenvalues λ _mn (b, c) and the eigenfunctions of the Coulomb spheroidal wave equation is proposed in the case of complex parameters b and c. The solution is represented as a combination of power series expansions that are then matched at a single point. An extensive numerical analysis shows that certain b _s and c _s are second-order branch points for λ _mn (b, c) with different indices n ₁ and n ₂, so that the eigenvalues at these points are double. Padé approximants, quadratic Hermite-Padé approximants, the finite element method, and the generalized Newton method are used to compute the branch points b _s and c _s and the double eigenvalues to high accuracy. A large number of these singular points are calculated.

研究了多值逻辑系统(W)、W、Wn中的广义矛盾式,并对这些多值逻辑系统中的广义矛盾式进行了分划,强调了这种分划的不重不漏.在(W)、W、Wn中给出了一种降级算法,但(W)、W中的矛盾式并不能由对非矛盾式进行降级得到.而在Wn中,矛盾式可由非矛盾式经过有限次降级得到.     

Uniform algebra isomorphisms and peripheral multiplicativity

Let be a surjective operator between two uniform algebras with . We show that if satisfies the peripheral multiplicativity condition for all , where is the peripheral spectrum of , then is an isometric algebra isomorphism from onto . One of the consequences of this result is that any surjective, unital, and multiplicative operator that preserves the peripheral ranges of algebra elements is an isometric algebra isomorphism. We describe also the structure of general, not necessarily unital, surjective and peripherally multiplicative operators between uniform algebras.

     

On <Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis>-nilpotency of finite groups*

Let be a class of groups. A subgroup H of a group G is called -s-supplemented in G, if there exists a subgroup K of G such that G = HK and K/K ∩ H_G belongs to where H_G is the maximal normal subgroup of G which is contained in H. The main purpose of this paper is to study some subgroups of Fitting subgroup and generalized Fitting subgroup -s-supplemented and some new criterions of p-nilpotency of finite groups are obtained. *This research is supported by the grant of NSFC and TianYuan Fund of Mathematics of China (Grant #10626047).     

正交异性半无限固支板条的弹性解

正交异性半无限固支板条在表面为应力自由和在无穷远处受载时的弹性解的控制微分方程为φ,yyyy+(2+δ₀)φ,yyzz+φ,zzzz=0(δ₀>-4).基于文献[10]对δ₀>0情形的工作,本文完成对各向同性材料δ₀=0和正交异性材料0>δ₀>-4情形的讨论.上述问题的解在边界位移数据给定情形的板理论的边界条件的合理提法方面有重要应用.     

First Order System of Equations of Mixed Type and Second Order Equation of Mixed Type

A system of first order equations of mixed type, which may be reduced to a general second order equation of mixed type, is considered. Uniqueness of solution to the generalized Tricomi problem is proved by the method of auxiliary function. Existence of H¹ strong solution is based on a characteristic problem and is proved by the Fredholm's alternative properties.     

Generalized complementarity problems for fuzzy mappings

In this paper we introduce a new class of generalized complementarity problems for the fuzzy mappings and construct a new iterative algorithm. We also discuss the existence of solutions for the generalized complementarity problems and the convergence of tterative sequence.

本文引入一类关于模糊(Fuzzy)映象的新的广义补余问题,构造出一类新的迭代算法.我们讨论这类广义补余问题解的存在性及迭代序列的收敛性.

权回归模型是近年来文献中较多涉及的一种.本文从回归诊断的角度进一步研究了它的若干问题.如扰动、影响度量及估计效率等.由于这类模型的一般性,因而本文的结果均可看作回归诊断中较成熟的一些结论的推广.
