Fenchel duality, Fitzpatrick functions and the extension of firmly nonexpansive mappings

Recently, S. Reich and S. Simons provided a novel proof of the Kirszbraun-Valentine extension theorem using Fenchel duality and Fitzpatrick functions. In the same spirit, we provide a new proof of an extension result for firmly nonexpansive mappings with an optimally localized range.

利用不动点定理,分别证明了在自反Banach空间中极大单调算子值域扰动的抽象结论和在H ilbert空间中m增生映射值域的扰动结果,这些结论是对以往一些工作的推广;然后,利用文中的新结论讨论了一类微分方程解的存在性.     

A New View on Fuzzy Hypermodules

We describe the relationship between the fuzzy sets and the algebraic hyperstructures. In fact, this paper is a continuation of the ideas presented by Davvaz in （Fuzzy Sets Syst., 117： 477- 484, 2001） and Bhakat and Das in （Fuzzy Sets Syst., 80： 359-368, 1996）. The concept of the quasicoincidence of a fuzzy interval value with an interval-valued fuzzy set is introduced and this is a natural generalization of the quasi-coincidence of a fuzzy point in fuzzy sets. By using this new idea, the concept of interval-valued （α,β）-fuzzy sub-hypermodules of a hypermodule is defined. 一致Lipschitz映射的遍历定理及其遍历分解

设(X,d)是一个可分的度量空间,Cu(X,d)是由全体一致连续函数所组成的C(X,d)的子空间,T是定义在X上的一致Lipschitz映射,那么对f∈Cu(X),1/n n∑k=1 Uk If在Cu(X)上收敛.从这个基本结果出发,利用Cu(X,d)的共扼空间的表示定理,得到了相空间的Yosida型遍历分解;利用空间的嵌入技术证明了非一致Lipschitz映射的大数法则.     

Fixed point theorems for multivalued nonexpansive mappings satisfying inwardness conditions

Let X be a Banach space whose characteristic of noncompact convexity is less than 1 and satisfies the nonstrict Opial condition. Let C be a bounded closed convex subset of X, KC(X) the family of all compact convex subsets of X and T a nonexpansive mapping from C into KC(X) with bounded range. We prove that T has a fixed point. The nonstrict Opial condition can be removed if, in addition, T is an 1-χ-contractive mapping.

Lattice valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets

In this paper a new definition of a lattice valued intuitionistic fuzzy set (LIFS) is introduced, in an attempt to overcome the disadvantages of earlier definitions. Some properties of this kind of fuzzy sets and their basic operations are given. The theorem of synthesis is proved: For every two families of subsets of a set satisfying certain conditions, there is an lattice valued intuitionistic fuzzy set for which these are families of level sets. Wave function mapping of self-assembled quantum dots by capacitance spectroscopy

We use frequency-dependent capacitance–voltage spectroscopy to study the dynamic charging of self-assembled InAs quantum dots. With increasing frequency, the AC charging becomes suppressed, beginning with the low-energy states. By applying an in-plane magnetic field, we generate an additional magnetic confinement that alters the tunneling barrier and hence the charging dynamics. In traveling through the potential barrier, the electrons acquire an additional momentum k₀, proportional to the magnetic field B. As the tunneling is enhanced, when k₀ matches the maximum of the electronic wave function Ψ (in momentum representation), we are able to map out the shape of Ψ by varying B.
