The James constant, the Jordan-von Neumann constant, weak orthogonality, and fixed points for multivalued mappings

We give some sufficient conditions for the Domínguez-Lorenzo condition in terms of the James constant, the Jordan-von Neumann constant, and the coefficient of weak orthogonality. As a consequence, we obtain fixed point theorems for multivalued nonexpansive mappings.     

Solution bundle for a class of impulsive differential inclusions on Banach spaces

In this paper a class of impulsive differential inclusions is investigated. The existence of solution bundle is proved. And we also construct a nonlinear semigroup of operators on cb(E) (closed-bounded subset of E) to describe the set of attainable states.     

The fixed point property for multivalued nonexpansive mappings

We show some properties concerning geometrical constants of Banach spaces which imply the existence of fixed points for multivalued nonexpansive mappings and we study the relationship between these properties.     

Fixed point theorems under the interior condition

We show a fixed point theorem for condensing mappings under a new condition of the Leray-Schauder type. We call it the Interior Condition. We also discuss examples that demonstrate the independence of these two conditions.

     

On the Log-Laplace Equation for Nonlocal Operators Generating Sub-Markovian Semigroups

We consider the semilinear Cauchy problem for a class of pseudo-differential operators generating sub-Markovian semigroups. Solutions of such problems with negative definite nonlinearity play an important role in constructing branching measure-valued processes. We establish local existence and uniqueness of solutions in the context of the Dirichlet space associated to the problem. Comparison and global properties of solutions are also studied. Stability and convergence of modified Ishikawa iterative sequences with errors in Banach spaces

Summary Some stability and convergence theorems of the modified Ishikawa iterative sequences with errors for asymptotically nonexpansive mapping in the intermediate sense and asymptotically pseudo contractive and uniformly Lipschitzian mappings in Banach spaces are obtained.     

Spectrally determined growth is generic

Let be the infinitesimal generator of a -semigroup of operators in a Hilbert space. We consider the class of operators , where is bounded. It is proved that the spectrum of determines the growth of the associated semigroup for ``most" operators (in the sense of Baire category).
