Bush连续不可微函数的分形性质

本文对用递推关系确定的Bush连续不可微函数,找出了迭代函数系(IFS),从而得到它的级数表达式和所具有的自仿射分形的有关性质.最后还计算出函数图象的Hausdorff 维数的准确值.     

Mathematical and numerical analysis of a simplified time-dependent viscoelastic flow

A time-dependent model corresponding to an Oldroyd-B viscoelastic fluid is considered, the convective terms being disregarded. Global existence in time is proved in Banach spaces provided the data are small enough, using the implicit function theorem and a maximum regularity property for a three fields Stokes problem. A finite element discretization in space is then proposed. Existence of the numerical solution is proved for small data, so as a priori error estimates, using again an implicit function theorem. On structure of small contractions of odd dimensional projective varieties

Let X be a smooth projective variety of dimension 2k-1 (k≥3) over the complex number field. Assume that fR: X→Y is a small contraction such that every irreducible component Ei of the exceptional locus of fR is a smooth subvariety of dimension k. It is shown that each Ei is isomorphic to the k-dimensional projective space Pk, the k-dimensional hyperquadric surface Qk in Pk 1, or a linear Pk-1-bundle over a smooth curve.

Primary abelian <Emphasis Type="Italic">n</Emphasis>-Σ-groups

We prove the following theorem: Any abelian p-group is an n-Σ-group which is a strong ω-elongation of a totally projective group by a p ^ω+n -projective group precisely when it is totally projective. In particular, each p-torsion p ^ω+n -projective n-Σ-group is a direct sum of countable p-groups of length not exceeding ω + n and vice versa. 基于分形维数的液体爆炸分散中界面破碎形态研究

通过对爆炸抛撒图象的处理,得到液体界面的曲线.采用盒维数的计算方式,计算界面曲线的分形维数.通过对各时刻液体界面分形维数的变化研究,分析爆炸抛撒近场阶段的变化过程,同时观察到蘑菇状尖顶的出现与破碎,以及空化区域的形成和消失现象。     

Finite element computations of two-dimensional arterial flow in the presence of a transverse magnetic field

A finite element solution of the Navier-Stokes equations for steady flow under the magnetic effect through a double-branched two-dimensional section of a three-dimensional model of the canine aorta is discussed. The numerical scheme involves transforming the physical co-ordinates to a curvilinear boundary-fitted co-ordinate system. The shear stress at the wall is calculated for a Reynolds number of 1000 with the branch-to-main aortic flow rate ratio as a parameter. The results are compared with earlier works involving experimental data and found to be in reasonable qualitative agreement. The steady flow, shear stress and branch flow under the effect of a magnetic field have been discussed in detail.     

一类递归集的Hausdorff维数及Bouligand维数

本文给出递归集的Ｈａｕｓｄｏｒｆｆ维数的下界估计，并由此确定了一类递归集的维数，所获结果包含并推广了Ｂｅｄｆｏｒｄ，Ｄｅｋｋｉｎｇ及文志英、钟红柳等人的有关结果。     

Zeroth-order phase transitions and Zipf law quantization

From the standpoint of thermodynamic averaging of fission microprocesses, we investigate the origin of radioactive release in an NPP after an accident or after resource depletion. The genesis of the NPP release is interpreted as a new thermodynamic phenomenon, a zeroth-order phase transition. This problem setting results in a problem in probabilistic number theory. We prove the corresponding theorem leading to quantization of the Zipf law for the frequency of a zeroth-order phase transition with different values of the jump of the Gibbs thermodynamic potential. Testing for additivity with B-splines

Regression splines are often used for fitting nonparametric functions, and they work especially well for additivity models. In this paper, we consider two simple tests of additivity: an adaptation of Tukey's one degree of freedom test and a nonparametric version of Rao's score test. While the Tukey-type test can detect most forms of the local non-additivity at the parametric rate of O(n-1/2), the score test is consistent for all alternative at a nonparametric rate. The asymptotic distribution of these test statistics is derived under both the null and local alternative hypotheses. A simulation study is conducted to compare their finite-sample performances with some existing kernel-based tests. The score test is found to have a good overall performance.
