In the paper, we consider applications of strictly pseudoconvex domains to the problems of algebraicity and rationality. We give a new proof of the Kodaira theorem on the algebraicity of a surface and we also prove a multidimensional version of this theorem. Theorems analogous to the Hodge index theorem and the Lefschetz theorem about (1, 1)-classes are obtained for strictly pseudoconvex domains. In this paper, we consider the relation of the Morse index of a closed geodesic with the Maslov–type index of a path in a symplectic group. More precisely, for a closed geodesic c on a Riemannian manifold M with its linear Poincaré map P (a symplectic matrix), we construct a symplectic path γ(t) starting from identity I and ending at P, such that the Morse index of the closed geodesic c equals the Maslov–type index of γ. The tachyonic version of the Schwarzschild (bradyonic) gravitational field within the framework of extended relativity is considered. The metric of a tachyonic black hole is obtained through superluminal transformations from a bradyonic metric. The extended space-time manifold of this geometry which includes both black and white tachyonic holes is analysed, and the differences between the tachyonic and bradyonic versions are noted. It is shown that the meanings of black holes, tachyons and bradyons depend on the character of the reference frame and are not absolute.  相似文献

We study an (n+1)(n≥ 3)-dimensional contact CR-submanifold of (n−1) contact CR-dimension in a (2m+1)-unit sphere S2m+1, and especially determine such submanifolds under the equality conditions appearing in (3.12). Abstract. For k ≥ 2, we exhibit complete k-curvature homogeneous neutral signature pseudo-Riemannian manifolds which are not locally affine homogeneous (and hence not locally homogeneous). Closed Legendrian (d – 1)-dimensional locally rectifiable currents on the sphere bundle in d are considered and the associated index functions are studied. A topological condition assuring the validity of a local version of the Gauss–Bonnet formula is established.
