Torus action on the moduli spaces of torsion plane sheaves of multiplicity four

We describe the torus fixed locus of the moduli space of stable sheaves with Hilbert polynomial $4m+1$ on ${\mathbb{P}}^2$. We determine the torus representation of the tangent spaces at the fixed points, which leads to the computation of the Betti and Hodge numbers of the moduli space.     

A finiteness criterion for cohomology of Fréchet-Montel sheaves

The paper deals with a finiteness criterion for the cohomology with compact supports of calculable Fréchet-Montel sheaves over locally compact topological spaces.

     

Gradient-like flows and self-indexing in stratified Morse theory

We develop the idea of self-indexing and the technology of gradient-like vector fields in the setting of Morse theory on a complex algebraic stratification. Our main result is the local existence, near a Morse critical point, of gradient-like vector fields satisfying certain “stratified dimension bounds up to fuzz” for the ascending and descending sets. As a global consequence of this, we derive the existence of self-indexing Morse functions.     

Equivariant resolution of points of indeterminacy

We prove an equivariant form of Hironaka's theorem on elimination of points of indeterminacy. Our argument uses canonical resolution of singularities and an extended version of Sumihiro's equivariant Chow lemma.

     

The Reduction of Equivariant Dynamics to the Orbit Space for Compact Group Actions

Symmetry introduces degeneracies in dynamical systems, as well as in bifurcation problems. An “obvious” idea in order to remove these degeneracies is to project the dynamics onto the quotient space obtained by identifying points in phase space which lie in the same group orbits (the so-called orbit space). Unfortunately, several difficulties arise when one tries to implement this idea. First, the orbit space is not, in general a manifold. Second, how does one explicitely realize the orbit space, and how does one compute and analyze the projected dynamics? In this paper I will describe the methods which have been developped in order to answer these questions, and I will show on three examples how they apply. We shall see that, although not always suitable to treat equivariant dynamics, these methods sometimes lead to insightful reductions.     

Equivariant–Bivariant Chern Character for Profinite Groups

For the action of a locally compact and totally disconnected group G on a pair of locally compact spaces X and Y we construct, by sheaf theoretic means, a new equivariant and bivariant cohomology theory. If we take for the first space Y an universal proper G-action then we obtain for the second space its delocalized equivariant homology. This is in exact formal analogy to the definition of equivariant K-homology by Baum, Connes, Higson starting from the bivariant equivariant Kasparov KK-theory. Under certain basic finiteness conditions on the first space Y we conjecture the existence of a Chern character from the equivariant Kasparov KK-theory of Y and X into our cohomology theory made two-periodic which becomes an isomorphism upon tensoring the KK-theory with the complex numbers. This conjecture is proved for profinite groups G. An essential role in our construction is played by a bivariant version of Segal localization which we establish for KK-theory.     

有缺失数据的条件独立正态母体中参数的最优同变估计

在缺失数据机制是可忽略的假设下,导出了有单调缺失数据的条件独立正态模型中协方差阵和精度阵的Cholesky分解的最大似然估计和无偏估计.通过引入一类特殊的变换群并在更广义的损失下,获得了其最优同变估计.这表明最大似然估计和无偏估计是非容许的.最后,通过数值模拟验证了相关结果的有效性.     

Equivariant heat invariants of the laplacian and nonmininmal operators on differential forms

In this paper,we compute the first two equivariant heat kernel coeffcients of the Bochner Laplacian on differential forms.The first two equivariant heat kernel coeffcients of the Bochner Laplacian with torsion are also given.We also study the equivariant heat kernel coeffcients of nonminimal operators on differential forms and get the equivariant Gilkey-Branson-Fulling formula.
