Nonlinear Energy Transfer over the Wave Spectrum in Water Covered by Solid Ice

On the basis of the hydrodynamic equations for nonlinear elastic-gravity waves beneath a solid ice cover and their Hamiltonian representation, a three-wave kinetic equation for the time evolution of the wave spectrum is formulated. The properties of the kernel of the kinetic integral describing the nonlinear interactions between wave triplets are investigated. An algorithm for numerically calculating the kinetic integral is developed. The rate of nonlinear energy transfer over the wave spectrum is estimated quantitatively and its most important characteristics are found.

Modeling hyperelastic behavior of rubber: A novel invariant‐based and a review of constitutive models

A constitutive phenomenological model completing the Gent‐Thomas concept is carried out to formulate laws governing the hyperelastic behavior of incompressible rubber materials. It is shown that the phenomenological Gent‐Thomas model (1958) and the constrained chain model (1992) give similar precise results at small to moderate deformation. On the other hand, comparisons of the outcome of the proposed model with that of the molecular model from the combined concepts of Flory‐Erman and Boyce‐Arruda (2000), and with those of the phenomenological models of Ogden (1982), Yeoh‐Fleming (1997), Pucci‐Saccomandi (2002) and Beda (2005) are made. Residual inconveniences raised by attractive continuum models in rubber elasticity literature have been successfully overcome. Results from both the statistical and phenomenological mechanics concepts are compared with the data of some useful classical materials (rubbers of Treloar, Rivlin‐Saunders, Pak‐Flory and Yeoh‐Fleming). The results permit one to see salient equivalence of the two theories for a more reliable prediction of stress‐stretch response for all states of any mode of deformation. A complete and exhaustive analysis of the Mooney plot that combines small and very large extension‐compression has been quite essential in assessing the validity of models. A method of identification of material parameters is presented and data of the simple tension suffice for the determination of the parameter values. It is shown that the ordinary identification procedures, such as the usual least squares, a very much used numerical method in materials investigation, can be unsuitable in some cases of hyperelastic modeling. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 在Pu的相对论有效原子实势近似和N原子 6 - 311G 全电子基函数下 ,用密度泛函B3LYP方法计算得到PuN分子基态X6Σ+ 的结构与势能函数、力常数与光谱数据 .同时计算得到PuN(g)分子在 2 98K时的标准生成热力学函数ΔfH0 、ΔS0 和ΔfG0 ,分别为 - 4 87.2 39kJ/mol、95 .345J/molK和 - 5 15 .6 6 6 1kJ/mol.     

Regularity of Harmonic Functions in Cheeger-Type Sobolev Spaces

We give a geometric approach to the study of the regularity of harmonic functions in Cheeger-type Sobolev spaces, and prove the Hölder continuity of such functions. In the proof, we give a definition of an upper curvature bound of the unit sphere of a Banach space, which seems to be of independent interest.     

25MeV/u6He+9Be反应的轻粒子发射

在25MeV/u ⁶He与⁹Be靶的反应中,107°和128°处明显地观察到了轻粒子发射.粒子能谱形状与平衡热源蒸发相一致,分析得到热源的核温度为完全熔合条件下的5.6MeV或非完全熔合条件下的5.2MeV .实验发现发射氚的数量特别大,这可能与目前广泛研究的⁶He的集团结构和同位旋效应有关.     

Mg,Si和S同位素链的壳反常

采用考虑轴向形变的相对论平均场理论,以双中子、双质子分离能隙δ_2n/δ_2p作为壳封闭的特征,分析了Mg,Si和S同位素链的壳封闭和壳反常,发现Mg同位素链在N=12,16处,Si同位素链在N=14,S同位素链在N?=16处出现明显的壳封闭结构,Si同位素链在N=28处壳层结构并没有消失.Mg,Si和S同位素链在N=20处壳效应并不太明显.     

Tunneling radiation of a Gibbons-Maeda dilaton black hole

We use the Parikh-Wilczek method to treat Hawking radiation as a tunneling process across the event horizon and calculate the emission rate of a Gibbons-Maeda dilaton black hole. We show that if self-gravitation is taken into account, then the radiation deviates from the purely thermal spectrum, and the corrected spectrum is consistent with an underlying unitary theory. __________ Translated from Teoreticheskaya i Matematicheskaya Fizika, Vol. 151, No. 1, pp. 172–175, April, 2007.

用玻色子组态混合波函数和玻色子表面δ相互作用研究了三玻色子核⁴⁶Ti和⁵⁴Cr的sdgIBMI的能谱和E2跃迁概率,理论计算结果令人满意,比sdIBMI能拟合出更多的能级和E2跃迁概率,而且它们的误差更小. 说明g玻色子在振动区也起着重要的作用,同时进一步证明了这种玻色子组态混合模型是成功的.     

Memory effects in gas chromatographic detection with a microwave-induced plasma

Capillary gas chromatography coupled to microwave-inducedplasma detection furnishes sensitivity adequate for trace analysis when the signal is monitored at a carbon emission line. Work performed with one of these systems at high electronic gain for the carbon signal has revealed solvent band widths in excess of four minutes; these impeded quantification of peaks eluting after the solvent. This report discusses two phenomena which could be related to the unexpected intensity of this solvent response: photomultiplier tube saturation and carbon deposits in the quartz plasma discharge tube.
