序半群Quantale完备化的进一步结果

本文给出了序半群上幂集Quantale的最大拓扑闭包的具体形式,即序半群的最小Quantale完备化.在此基础上,证明了Quantale范畴Quant是序半群范畴OSGrp*的满的反射子范畴.最后,给出了序半群Quantale完备化的一个应用.     

Pure Weierstrass gaps from a quotient of the Hermitian curve

In this paper, by employing some results on Kummer extensions, we give an arithmetic characterization of pure Weierstrass gaps at many totally ramified places on a quotient of the Hermitian curve, including the well-studied Hermitian curve as a special case. The cardinality of these pure gaps is explicitly investigated. In particular, the numbers of gaps and pure gaps at a pair of distinct places are determined precisely, which can be regarded as an extension of the previous work by Matthews (2001) considered Hermitian curves. Additionally, some concrete examples are provided to illustrate our results.     

Fixed point property for Banach algebras associated to locally compact groups

In this paper we investigate when various Banach algebras associated to a locally compact group G have the weak or weak^∗ fixed point property for left reversible semigroups. We proved, for example, that if G is a separable locally compact group with a compact neighborhood of the identity invariant under inner automorphisms, then the Fourier-Stieltjes algebra of G has the weak^∗ fixed point property for left reversible semigroups if and only if G is compact. This generalizes a classical result of T.C. Lim for the case when G is the circle group T.     

Fixed point properties of semigroups of nonexpansive mappings

We prove that if H is a Hilbert space then the Schatten (trace) class operators on H has the weak^∗ fixed point property for left reversible semigroups. This answered positively a problem raised by A.T.-M. Lau. We also prove that if M is a finite von Neumann algebra then any nonempty bounded convex subset of the non-commutative L¹-space associated to M that is compact for the measure topology has the fixed point property for left reversible semigroups.     

Generation of analytic semigroups by generalized Ornstein-Uhlenbeck operators with potentials

It is shown that the generalized Ornstein-Uhlenbeck operator “with potential” AΦ,G,Vu:=Δu−∇Φ⋅∇u+G⋅∇u−Vu with suitable domain generates an analytic semigroup on the weighted space Lp(RN,μ), 1<p<∞, where . The result extends the generation theorem established by Metafune-Prüss-Rhandi-Schnaubelt when V≡0 to the case where V?0, while the proof is based on their useful theorem that a class of second order elliptic operators generates an analytic semigroup on the unweighted space Lp(RN).     

Automorphisms of endomorphism semigroups of reflexive digraphs

A reflexive digraph is a pair (X, ρ), where X is an arbitrary set and ρ is a reflexive binary relation on X. Let End (X, ρ) be the semigroup of endomorphisms of (X, ρ). We determine the group of automorphisms of End (X, ρ) for: digraphs containing an edge not contained in a cycle, digraphs consisting of arbitrary unions of cycles such that cycles of length ≥2 are pairwise disjoint, and some circulant digraphs (© 2010 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. On approximation properties of a family of linear operators at critical value of parameter

We introduce the family of linear operators

associated to a certain “admissible bunch” of operators S_t, t>0, acting on , and investigate the approximation properties of this family as α→0⁺. We give some applications to the Riesz and the Bessel potentials generated by the ordinary (Euclidean) and generalized translations.     

动力系统方法解决无界线性算子方程

针对反问题中出现的第一类算子方程Au=f,其中A是实Hilbert空间H上的一个无界线性算子利用动力系统方法和正则化方法,求解上述问题的正则化问题的解:u'(t)=-A~*(Au(t)-f)利用线性算子半群理论可以得到上述正则化问题的解的半群表示,并证明了当t→∞时,所得的正则化解收敛于原问题的解.
