Wolfe Duality for Interval-Valued Optimization

Weak and strong duality theorems in interval-valued optimization problem based on the formulation of the Wolfe primal and dual problems are derived. The solution concepts of the primal and dual problems are based on the concept of nondominated solution employed in vector optimization problems. The concepts of no duality gap in the weak and strong sense are also introduced, and strong duality theorems in the weak and strong sense are then derived.     

Straight line embeddings of cubic planar graphs with integer edge lengths

We prove that every simple cubic planar graph admits a planar embedding such that each edge is embedded as a straight line segment of integer length. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Graph Theory 58:270‐274, 2008     

关于超过程的几个比较定理

本文讨论了超Dawson-Watanabe过程的Laplace变换之间的相互比较,得到了依赖于其底过程和分枝特征的若干比较定理.应用比较定理可以将超布朗运动在特殊分枝下的某些性质推广到一般的超过程.同时将这些结果应用于非线性发展方程,得到了一类非线性发展方程的解之间的比较.

Summary Some topics of our twenty some years of joint work is discussed. Just to name a few; joint behavior of the maximum of the Wiener process and its location, global and local almost sure limit theorems, strong approximation of the planar local time difference, a general Strassen type theorem, maximal local time on subsets.     

On Cesari's property (Q)

In the present paper, we generalize, within the family of convex-valued multifunctions, a selection theorem of Cole (Ref. 1). This then leads us to prove some new results concerning Cesari's property (Q) and to the introduction of the Cesari limit of sets, which is then compared to the Kuratowski-Mosco limit.This work was done while the author was a visiting professor at the University of Pavia, Pavia, Italy. Convergence and Voronovskaja-type theorems for derivatives of generalized Baskakov operators

In the present paper our aim is to establish convergence and Voronovskaja-type theorems for first derivatives of generalized Baskakov operators for functions of one and two variables in exponential and polynomial weight spaces.      

A definable nonstandard enlargement

This article establishes the existence of a definable (over ZFC), countably saturated nonstandard enlargement of the superstructure over the reals. This nonstandard universe is obtained as the union of an inductive chain of bounded ultrapowers (i.e. bounded with respect to the superstructure hierarchy). Carleman estimates and unique continuation property for the anisotropic differential-operator equations

The unique continuation theorems for the anisotropic partial differential-operator equations with variable coeffcients in Banach-valued Lp-spaces are studied.To obtain the uniform maximal regularity and the Carleman type estimates for parameter depended differential-operator equations,the suffcient conditions are founded.By using these facts,the unique continuation properties are established.In the application part,the unique continuation properties and Carleman estimates for finite or infinite systems of quasielliptic partial differential equations are studied.     

极大单调映象的满射定理及其应用

The main purpose of this paper is to study the surjectivity theorems for maximal monotone mapping in reflexive Banach spaces by using fixed point theory.We prove some new surjectivity theorems under some conditions and give its application in differential equation.     

A continuity theorem for Stinespring's dilation

We show a continuity theorem for Stinespring's dilation: two completely positive maps between arbitrary C^∗-algebras are close in cb-norm if and only if we can find corresponding dilations that are close in operator norm. The proof establishes the equivalence of the cb-norm distance and the Bures distance for completely positive maps. We briefly discuss applications to quantum information theory.
