A simple methodology for a high‐resolution scheme to be applied to compressible multicomponent flows with shock waves is investigated. The method is intended for use with direct numerical simulation or large eddy simulation of compressible multicomponent flows. The method dynamically adds non‐linear artificial diffusivity locally in space to capture different types of discontinuities such as a shock wave, contact surface or material interface while a high‐order compact differencing scheme resolves a broad range of scales in flows. The method is successfully applied to several one‐dimensional and two‐dimensional compressible multicomponent flow problems with shock waves. The results are in good agreement with experiments and earlier computations qualitatively and quantitatively. The method captures unsteady shock and material discontinuities without significant spurious oscillations if initial start‐up errors are properly avoided. Comparisons between the present numerical scheme and high‐order weighted essentially non‐oscillatory (WENO) schemes illustrate the advantage of the present method for resolving a broad range of scales of turbulence while capturing shock waves and material interfaces. Also the present method is expected to require less computational cost than popular high‐order upwind‐biased schemes such as WENO schemes. 文[8,9]研究设计了一种守恒型的间断跟踪法,其主要特点是以解的守恒性作为跟踪的机制而不是像传统的间断跟踪法利用Rankine-Hugoniot条件,将该跟踪法对一维Euler方程组进行实现.对一维单个守恒律凸流的实现见文[7].由于Euler方程组有3类特征线,信息沿每类特征线传播并相互穿透.如果仍然象单个守恒律那样间断两侧的数值解的计算只用到来自间断同侧的信息,则间断一侧的信息就不能传到间断的另一侧,而会堆积在间断附近.设计了一种几乎是二阶的按特征方式分离信息的方法,将堆积在间断附近的信息分离.而且按此思想可做成高阶方法.该方法中不仅用到了精确Riemann分解,还用到了Roe[12]的近似Riemann分解及各种插值和重构技巧.数值实验表明这样的处理是有效的.  相似文献

In this paper, a numerical approach for analyzing interacting multiple cracks in infinite linear elastic media is presented. By extending Bueckner’s principle suited for a crack to a general system containing multiple interacting cracks, the original problem is divided into a homogeneous problem (the one without cracks) subjected to remote loads and a multiple crack problem in an unloaded body with applied tractions on the crack surfaces. Thus, the results in terms of the stress intensity factors (SIFs) can be obtained by considering the latter problem, which is analyzed easily by means of the displacement discontinuity method with crack-tip elements proposed recently by the author. Test examples are given to illustrate that the numerical approach is very accurate for analyzing interacting multiple cracks in an infinite linear elastic media under remote uniform stresses. In addition, the displacement discontinuity method with crack-tip elements is used to analyze a multiple crack problem in a finite plate. It is found that the boundary element method is also very accurate for investigating interacting multiple cracks in a finite plate. Specially, a generalization of Bueckner’s principle and the displacement discontinuity method with crack-tip elements are used to analyze multiple circular arc crack problems in infinite plate in tension (including: Two Collinear Circular Arc Cracks, Three Collinear Circular Arc Cracks, Two Parallel Circular Arc Cracks, Three Parallel Circular Arc Cracks and Two Circular Arc Cracks) in a plane elasticity plate. The propagation of electromagnetic waves along open periodic, dielectric waveguides is formulated in the case that surface wave is guided and propagates normally to the corrugation. Our approximate analysis with the propagation characteristics is to consider a corresponding bounded waveguide problem in which perfect electric or magnetic walls are introduced, and the periodic corrugation is regarded as consisting of step discontinuities connected by a length of uniform slab waveguide. By properly taking into account of both surface modes and only a few non-surface-modes, a novel network approach is proposed for characterizing step discontinuity based on the generalized conservation of complex power technique (GCCPT). Employing solution selection rule (SSR), we can readily derive propagation characteristics in the Bragg interaction region. A number of numerical results are shown to demonstrate the usefulness of our approach.  相似文献

 It has been established that in the presence of elastic as well as surface tension forces, a jump can occur in the bubble velocity-bubble volume plot. It was proposed that this phenomenon was the result of an elastic instability at the bubble interface, which drastically changes the local boundary conditions. The origin of this change was mainly attributed to the magnitude of the elastic forces, which can extract surface active impurities at the gas-liquid interface. The self-similar problem of the oblique interaction between a slow MHD shock wave and a tangential discontinuity is solved within the framework of the ideal magnetohydrodynamic model. The constraints on the initial parameters necessary for the existence of a regular solution are found. Various feasible wave flow patterns are found in the steady-state coordinate system moving with the line of intersection of the discontinuities. As distinct from the problems of interaction between fast shock waves and other discontinuities, when the incident shock wave is slow the state ahead of it cannot be given and must to be determined in the process of solving the problem. As an example, a flow in which the slow shock wave incident on the tangential discontinuity is generated by an ideally conducting wedge located in the flow is considered. In this paper we work with a finite-volume-procedure for the computation of the one-dimensional Euler equations for the treatment of multi-gases and the problem of the correct treatment of the discontinuity was more nearly investigated. In this paper, we study the zero dissipation limit problem for the one-dimensional compressible Navier-Stokes equations. We prove that if the solution of the inviscid Euler equations is piecewise constants with a contact discontinuity, then there exist smooth solutions to the Navier-Stokes equations which converge to the inviscid solution away from the contact discontinuity at a rate of as the heat-conductivity coefficient κ tends to zero, provided that the viscosity μ is of higher order than the heat-conductivity κ. Without loss of generality, we set μ≡0. Here we have no need to restrict the strength of the contact discontinuity to be small.  相似文献
