香港大屿山残坡积土的残余强度试验研究

粘性土的残余强度是边坡稳定性评价、桩基与土的相互作用机理研究及填土边坡设计中的重要参数。本文在综述大量文献的基础上，结合香港大屿山火山岩风化残坡积土的残余强度试验研究，分析了残余强度的测试方法和影响残余强度的因素。研究结果表明，残余强度与有效法向应力间具有明显的非线性关系；与单剪测试结果相比，多级剪测试结果明显偏高。     

N -Fold ?ech Derived Functors and Generalised Hopf Type Formulas

The notion of n-fold Čech derived functors is introduced and studied. This is illustrated using the n-fold Čech derived functors of the nilization functors Z_k. This gives a new purely algebraic method for the investigation of the Brown–Ellis generalised Hopf formula for the higher integral group homology and for its further generalisation. BGP reflection functors in root categories

We define the BGP-reflection functors in the derived categories and the root categories. By Ringel's Hall algebra approach, the BGP-reflection functor is applicable to obtain the classical Weyl group action on the Lie algebra.

Let G be a finite p-group.If the order of the derived subgroup of each proper subgroup of G divides pi,G is called a Di-group.In this paper,we give a characterization of all D1-groups.This is an answer to a question introduced by Berkovich.

We explicitly describe all spherical objects, as well as tilting objects, of the multiplicity free Brauer tree algebra with two edges.     

Some Functions of Points in Projective Spaces

Extending earlier results in the plane, we prove that every n-polygon in sufficiently general position in d-dimensional projective space, n d + 2, gives rise to a derived n-polygon, which preserves a few functions; these functions are the cyclial product of (actually affine) ratios of various points, obtained by proper projections on suitable lines.
