The intracellular free Ca2+ concentration ([Ca2+]i) could be correlated with the contractile response in rat mesangial cells using an apparatus which measured both biochemical processes simultaneously. Long-term pretreatment of mesangial cells with 12-O-tetradecanoly-phorbol 13-acetate (24 h, 500 nM) increased the (20 nM) angiotensin II-induced mobilization of Ca2+ and led to an enhanced and sustained contraction of the cells. The contractile response was delayed by approximately 3.5 s with respect to the intracellular increase in Ca2+ concentration. The simultaneous registration of Ca2+ transients and cell contractions confirms that [Ca2+]i is the major determinant of the angiotensin II-mediated mesangial cell contraction.Dedicated to Professor Horst H. 2020年Liu和Yang提出了求解Hilbert空间中拟单调且Lipschitz连续的变分不等式问题的投影算法,简称LYA。本文在欧氏空间中提出了一种新的求解拟单调变分不等式的压缩投影算法,简称NPCA。新算法削弱了LYA中映射的Lipschitz连续性。在映射连续、拟单调且对偶变分不等式解集非空的条件下得到了NPCA所生成点列的聚点是解的结论。当变分不等式的解集还满足一定条件时,得到了NPCA的全局收敛性。数值实验结果表明NPCA所需的迭代步数少于LYA的迭代步数,NPCA在高维拟单调例子中所需的计算机耗时也更少。 相似文献

In this work, the creeping flow of a viscoplastic fluid through a planar channel with an expansion followed by a contraction is analyzed numerically. The solution of the conservation equations of mass and momentum is obtained via the finite volume method. In order to model the non-Newtonian behavior of the fluid, it was used the generalized Newtonian fluid constitutive equation. The viscosity function was the one proposed by Souza Mendes and Dutra [Souza Mendes, P.R., Dutra, E.S.S., 2004. Viscosity function for yield-stress liquids. Appl. Rheol. 14, 296–302]. The yielded and unyielded regions are obtained for several combinations of rheological parameters. Using nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) flow imaging to examine fluid motions at constant velocities or flows that change relatively slowly has been well-documented in the literature. Application of this technique to accelerative flows, on the other hand, has been limited. This study reports the use of an NMR flow imaging method, for which acceleration is not explicitly compensated in the NMR pulse sequence, to measure axial and radial fluid motions during flow through an axisymmetric sudden contraction. In this flow geometry, both velocity and acceleration are spatially dependent. The flow contraction ratio was 2:1. The method was first applied to examine Newtonian liquids at low and high Reynolds numbers under laminar flow conditions. The measured axial and radial velocity profiles, without accounting for acceleration effects in the data analysis, across the contraction are in excellent qualitative agreement with previous experimental data and theoretical calculations reported in the literature. Quantitative comparison of the axial and radial velocities with numerical results indicates that the maximum error from acceleration effects is about 10%. The method has also been used to examine the flow of a concentrated suspension (50% by volume of solid particles) through the contraction. The flow kinematics of the suspension at creeping flow conditions appear to mimic those of the Newtonian fluid with some slight differences. NMR images taken immediately following the cessation of flow suggest a slight degree of particle migration toward the center of the pipe downstream of the contraction. 相似文献

In this paper visualisation and direct velocity profile measurement experiments for a branched polypropylene melt in a 10:1 axisymmetric contraction demonstrate the onset of wall slip. Video processing of the flow shows the formation of vortices and their diminution with increasing flow rate. Numerical simulations using a multimode K-BKZ viscoelastic and a purely viscous (Cross) model—both of them incorporating a nonlinear slip law—were used to predict the flow kinematics and dynamics as well as to deduce the slip velocity function by performing fitting to the velocity profiles. It was found that the numerical predictions agree well with the experimental results for the velocity profiles, and vortex formation, growth and reduction. It is suggested that such experiments (visualisation of entrance flow and direct velocity profile measurement) can be useful in evaluating the validity of constitutive equations and slip laws in the flow of polymer melts through processing equipment. 相似文献
