Some properties concerning Milman's moduli

In this paper, some properties concerning Milman's moduli J(t,X) and S(t,X), including equivalent representations, upper and lower bounds as well as relationship between some geometric properties and these two moduli, are studied. In addition, some sufficient conditions for the fixed point property are presented.

Resonance Problems Which Intersect Many Eigenvalues

We study semilinear problems in which the nonlinear part is linear at infinity but behaves like a function intersecting many of the eigenvalues of the linear operator. The asymptotic linear operator can have a null space of any finite dimension.     

The bias of k-step M-estimators

It is well-known that k-step M-estimators can yield a high efficiency without losing the breakdown point of the initial estimator. In this note we derive their bias curves. In the location framework the bias increases only slightly with k, but in the scale case the bias curves change considerably.

Multiple positive solutions for multipoint boundary value problems with one-dimensional p-Laplacian

In this paper we consider the multiplicity of positive solutions for the one-dimensional p-Laplacian differential equation (?p^′(u^′))+q(t)f(t,u,u^′)=0, t∈(0,1), subject to some boundary conditions. By means of a fixed point theorem due to Avery and Peterson, we provide sufficient conditions for the existence of multiple positive solutions to some multipoint boundary value problems.     

非自渐近非扩张映象的Reich-Takahashi型迭代法的强收敛定理

设E是一实的Banach空间,其范数是一致Gteaux可微的;D是E的非空闭凸子集而且是E的非扩张收缩核.设T:D→E是具有序列{kn}[1,∞),limn→∞kn=1的非自渐近非扩张映象,P:E→D是一非扩张保核收缩.本文证明了,在一定条件下,由修正的Reich-Takahashi迭代法(1.2)和(1.3)式定义的迭代序列{xn}强收敛于非自渐近非扩张映象T的不动点.     

对称锥互补问题

对称锥互补问题是一类均衡优化,包括标准互补问题、二阶锥互补问题和半定互补问题等,近几年,人们借助欧几里德若当代数技术,在对称锥互补问题的研究方面获得了突破性进展并使之逐渐受到重视,本文主要从理论和算法两方面总结和评述这些新成果,同时,列出了相应的重要文献。
