COMPLETENESS OF THE PARABOLIC SUBGROUPS OF PROJECTIVE ORTHOGONAL GROUPS

All parabolic subgroups and Borel subgroups of PΩ(2m 1, F) over a linear-able field F of characteristic 0 are shown to be complete groups, provided m > 3.     

单分子光子源光子统计的非平衡探测

研究了在Hanbury Brown Twiss探测方式下，非平衡探测系统对光子统计测量的影响。通过记录2个单光子计数器响应的单分子光子源输出的每一个事件，分析具有泊松统计背景的实际单分子光子源的光子统计特性，讨论并给出了非平衡探测系统的单分子光子源Mandel参数。研究表明：非理想的50／50分束器、非理想的线性传输效率和非理想的探测器都会使单分子光子源Mandel参数的实际测量结果小于平衡系统的Mandel参数，最后给出了单分子光子源Mandel参数的非理想探测的校正表达式。     

Propagation of the kurtosis parameter of Hermite-cosh-Gaussian beams

Starting from the propagation equation of Hermite-cosh-Gaussian (HChG) beams and the intensity moments definition, an analytical expression for the propagation of the kurtosis parameter of unapertured HChG beams passing through paraxial optical ABCD systems is derived and illustrated numerically. Special interesting cases are discussed, in particular, the kurtosis parameter of HChG beams at the waist plane is obtained readily from our general propagation expression.     

Distributive lattices of numberings

We study into a semilattice of numberings generated by a given fixed numbering via operations of completion and taking least upper bounds. It is proved that, except for the trivial cases, this semilattice is an infinite distributive lattice every principal ideal in which is finite. The least upper and the greatest lower bounds in the semilattice are invariant under extensions in the semilattice of all numberings. Isomorphism types for the semilattices in question are in one-to-one correspondence with pairs of cardinals the first component of which is equal to the cardinality of a set of non-special elements, and the second — to the cardinality of a set of special elements, of the initial numbering. CSR外靶实验终端中子流测量的模拟

随着兰州重离子加速器冷却储存环(HIRFL-CSR)外靶实验终端中子墙的建立, 为实验测量高能中子提供了机遇. 为确定CSR外靶实验终端对中子流测量的可行性, 基于BUU理论模型分别对对称系统(Ni+Ni, Pb+Pb)和非对称系统(Pb+Ni)进行了模拟计算, 发现当系统能量达到几百MeV/u时, 中子流信号相当明显, 并与碰撞参数有明显的依赖关系. 模拟结果表明, 在前角20°的覆盖范围内, 可以较好地实现中子流测量所需要的反应平面确定及碰撞参数选择. 对双击事件及其对中子流的影响进行了简单的讨论.     

Learning Markov chains in fractal compression of image data

In a recent paper [17] we proposed a stochastic algorithm which generates optimal probabilities for the decompression of an image represented by the fixed point of an IFS system (SAOP). We show here that such an algorithm is in fact a non trivial example of Generalized Random System with Complete Connections. We also exhibit a generalization which could represent the solution to the inverse problem for an image with grey levels, if a fixed set of contraction maps is available. Received: 1 July 2002

A contribution to the ternary phase diagram Co-Sb-Te

The melting behaviour, some phase boundaries and the lattice parameters in the region of the NiAs-type phase in the ternary system cobalt-antimony-tellurium have been determined by differential thermal analysis and X-ray diffraction. A projection of the liquidus surface and the phase relationships in different sections with constant antimony/tellurium ratios are presented. The peculiar variation of the lattice parameters with the composition of the nonstoichiometric NiAs-type phase is discussed in terms of the defect structure.Dedicated to Prof. K. L.
