应用构造染色函数法研究了冠图C_m·C_n、C_m·C_n的邻点可区别V-全染色.通过对P_m·C_n的邻点可区别V-全染色的研究巧妙给出了C_m·C_n邻点可区别V-全染色,并得到了这些图的邻点可区别V-全色数,从而验证了图的邻点可区别V-全染色猜想.     

Acyclic edge coloring of triangle-free 1-planar graphs

A proper edge coloring of a graph G is acyclic if there is no 2-colored cycle in G. The acyclic chromatic index of G, denoted by χ a(G), is the least number of colors such that G has an acyclic edge coloring. A graph is 1-planar if it can be drawn on the plane so that each edge is crossed by at most one other edge. In this paper, it is proved that χ a(G) ≤Δ(G) + 22, if G is a triangle-free 1-planar graph.     

On complete graphs with negative r-mean curvature

We generalize Efimov's Theorem for graphs in Euclidean space using the scalar curvature, with an additional hypothesis on the second fundamental form.     

Harmonics in the stress response of a WCA-Lennard-Jones liquid under oscillatory elongational flow

The WCA fluid shows a nonlinear behaviour toward a periodic elongational flow through the presence of higher harmonics in stress responses. At the same time the liquid remains purely viscous and isotropic. The absence of numerical artefacts is checked and the physical origin of the harmonics is discussed.     

A Shifted Double-Diamond Titania Scaffold

Photonic crystals are expected to be metamaterials because of their potential to control the propagation of light in the linear and nonlinear regimes. Biological single-network, triply periodic constant mean curvature surface structures are considered excellent candidates owing to their large complete band gap. However, the chemical construction of these relevant structures is rare and developing new structures from thermodynamically stable double-network self-organizing systems is challenging. Herein, we reveal that the shifted double-diamond titania scaffold can achieve a complete band gap. The largest (7.71 %) band gap is theoretically obtained by shifting 0.332 c with the dielectric contrast of titania (6.25). A titania scaffold with similar shifted double-diamond structure was fabricated using a reverse core–shell microphase-templating system with an amphiphilic diblock copolymer and a titania source in a mixture of tetrahydrofuran and water, which could result in a 2.05–3.78 % gap.     

An exact DSatur-based algorithm for the Equitable Coloring Problem

This paper describes an exact algorithm for the Equitable Coloring Problem, based on the well known DSatur algorithm for the classic Coloring Problem with new pruning rules specifically derived from the equity constraint. Computational experiences show that our algorithm is competitive with those known in literature.
