We obtain series expansion formulas for the Hadamard fractional integral and fractional derivative of a smooth function. When considering finite sums only, an upper bound for the error is given. Numerical simulations show the efficiency of the approximation method.

Addressing some issues of Ray Optics on the basis of the newly discovered generalized vectorial laws of reflection and refraction

This paper addresses a few issues concerning Ray Optics on the basis of the newly discovered generalized vectorial laws of reflection and refraction. Along with confirming the validity of the principle of reversibility of light, the present study confirms the existing relationship between object distance and image distance in case of reflection by a plane mirror. General novel relations between real distance and apparent distance in case of image formation due to refraction also resulted from the present study. Finally novel treatment has been offered to deal with the problem of refraction through a parallel-sided slab of a refracting material on the basis of the aforesaid generalized vectorial law of refraction.     

分数Poynting-Thomson模型对E7复介电常数的应用

基于分数阶微积分理论和介电分数单元,建立了分数Poynting-Thomson模型,给出了复介电常数的表达式.利用遗传算法结合共轭梯度法,分别求得复介电常数实部和虚部的最优参数,并对E7（主要是氰基联苯化合物）复介电常数实部和虚部的实验数据进行拟合.结果表明能对E7的复介电常数给出很好的描述.另外,由于该法对研究聚合物的复介电常数有广泛的适用性,故该法对研究与E7性质相差很大的聚合物同样适用.     

Set-Indexed Itô Calculus Along Paths

Abstract

Set-indexed stochastic analysis and set-indexed stochastic calculus are faced here with a new approach of dimension's reduction. We introduce a new tool (main flow) in order to deal with one-parameter calculus in set-indexed framework. We prove an Itô formula for any Brownian functional where the Brownian component is not a martingale on the whole set of indices but induces such a martingale. As first extensions, we provide definitions of bracket and local time in set-indexed context.
