We investigate theoretically the formation of a vortex lattice in
a superfluid two-spin component Fermi gas in a rotating harmonic trap, in a BCS-type
regime of condensed non-bosonic pairs.
Our analytical solution of the superfluid
hydrodynamic equations, both for the 2D BCS equation of state
and for the 3D unitary quantum gas, predicts that the vortex free gas is
subject to a dynamic instability for fast enough rotation.
With a numerical solution of the full
time dependent BCS equations in a 2D model, we confirm the existence of this dynamic
instability and we show that it leads to the formation of a regular pattern
of quantum vortices in the gas. 相似文献

A new method for calculating the total power of the spontaneous emission of a few motionless two-level atoms located at a distance of the order of the resonance-radiation wavelength with dipole-dipole interaction is suggested. The method is based on the Schrödinger representation. It is shown, as an example, that two trapped atoms cannot emit a pulse of superradiance under any conditions, while four atoms can emit such a pulse at certain conditions. Different ways of introducing the quasi-stationary states of atoms along with the generalization of the proposed method to other resonance systems are discussed. 相似文献

In this work we give a consistent picture of the thermodynamic properties of
bosons in the Mott insulating phase when loaded adiabatically into
one-dimensional optical lattices. We find a crucial dependence of the
temperature in the optical lattice on the doping level of the Mott
insulator. In the undoped case, the temperature is of the order of the large
onsite
Hubbard interaction. In contrast, at a finite doping level the
temperature jumps almost immediately to the order of the small hopping
parameter. These two situations are investigated on the one hand by considering
limiting cases like the atomic limit and the case of free fermions. On the
other hand, they are examined using a quasi-particle conserving continuous
unitary transformation extended by an approximate thermodynamics for

This work is devoted to attractive invariant manifolds for nonautonomous difference equations, occurring in the discretization theory for evolution equations. Such invariant sets provide a discrete counterpart to inertial manifolds of dissipative FDEs and evolutionary PDEs. We discuss their essential properties, like smoothness, the existence of an asymptotic phase, normal hyperbolicity and attractivity in a nonautonomous framework of pullback attraction. As application we show that inertial manifolds of the Allen–Cahn and complex Ginzburg–Landau equation persist under discretization. A very important question in ultrarelativistic heavy ion collisions is that of thermalization of the high energy density quark
gluon plasma forud in the central rapidity region. Different approaches have been adopted by various authors to study this
thermalization problem. These include phenomenological string and capacitor plate models, perturbative QCD based parton cascade
models and the classical non-perturbative approach. In this paper we briefly review the earlier studies and discuss our work
which emphasizes the role of non-perturbative collective effects (classical chaos) in the thermalization of the plasma. In
particular, using classical equations of motion of a coloured parton in self-consistent colour fields, we have carried out
a 1+1 dimensional simulation of coloured partonic matter. We find that in certain parameter domains, the system exhibits chaotic
behaviour in non-abelian plasma oscillations, which then leads to thermalization of the plasma. 相似文献

We propose a vertex formulation of the Ising model with inhomogeneous external field on multiconnected networks possessing a superbond structure. The related technique based on gauge degrees of freedom enables us to recognize new collective modes of interaction nature, which provide an exact solution of the inverse profile problem and an explicit form of a local free-energy functional on an extended magnetization-mode space. An improved quantum secure direct communication (QSDC) protocol is proposed in this paper.Blocks of entangled photon pairs are transmitted in two steps in which secret messages are transmitted directly.The single logical qubits and unitary operations under decoherence free subspaces are presented and the generalized Bell states are constructed which are immune to the collective noise.Two steps of qubit transmission are used in this protocol to guarantee the security of communication.The security of the protocol against various attacks are discussed. 相似文献
