Finitely Presented Functors and Degenerations#

Given two d-dimensional Λ-modules M and N, then M degenerates to N if and only if there exists an exact sequence of the form 0→ U→ U ⊕ M→ N→ 0 for some U ? mod Λ (Zwara, 1998 Zwara , G. ( 1998 ). Having this as a starting point, in this article we give a characterization of degenerations by the existence of a certain finitely presented functor. This gives new information about U in the sequence above. We show how this new information can be used to prove that M   _deg N even when M ⊕ X ≤  _deg N ⊕ X for some X for modules over Λ _q  = k〈 x,y〉/〈 x ²,y ²,xy + qyx〉, q ≠ 0 in k, where k is an algebraically closed field.     

Study of closed orbit response to magnet vibrations at the SSRF storage ring

This paper presents the analytical and simulation responses of the closed orbit distortion in the SSRF storage ring to random and plane wave like magnet vibrations respectively. It is shown that the use of girder is very beneficial in the view of suppressing this response function. Effect of the independently supported gradient bending magnets to the closed orbit response is given. An analytic formula is written to give a rough estimate of the closed orbit distortion due to ground motion, taking into account the closed orbit response function and girder transfer function. As an example, the result of SSRF case is given.     

正方体量子台球的半经典分析(英文)

近几年,量子台球问题引起人们的广泛兴趣.以前有很多对二维量子台球做过研究,相对于二维台球来说,三维台球更接近实际体系.本文以三维正方体量子台球为例,利用半经典闭合轨道理论计算了正方体量子台球中的经典开轨道,并研究量子谱函数与经典轨道长度之间的对应关系,发现他们之间对应的很好.这将有助于我们分析开放型量子台球中输运性质问题.利用这种方法物理图像清晰,计算量小并且可以帮助理解一些混沌体系的性质.这是半经典理论为联系量子力学与经典力学起桥梁作用的又一证明.     

A Closed‐Loop Control Strategy for Producing Nitrile Rubber of Uniform Chemical Composition in a Semibatch Reactor: A Simulation Study

To improve the quality of industrial nitrile rubbers, the copolymer chemical composition, p_A(t), should ideally be kept constant along the reaction. This work proposes a closed‐loop control strategy for the semibatch operation of the reactor with the aim of regulating p_A(t) within a reduced range of variability. The proposed strategy is evaluated by simulating a mathematical model of the process. To this effect, a simplified mathematical model of the reaction is first derived and then utilized to obtain a suboptimal control law and a soft‐sensor that estimates the polymerization rates. The suboptimal control law is compensated by adding a term proportional to errors in p_A(t). The simulated example considers the production of the low‐composition AJLT grade, with the copolymerization reaction represented by a detailed mathematical model adjusted to an industrial plant. Due to the high performance of the soft‐sensor, the simulation results suggest that the proposed closed‐loop strategy is efficient to adequately regulate p_A(t) in spite of structural and parametric uncertainties, while other quality variables remained practically unaffected.
