This paper deals with the behavior of a parametrically-forced analytically-solvable oscillator in the presence of a delay in the feedback loop. In spite of the delay, it is here shown that, when the system is in the strong relaxation regime, a one-dimensional approximation to the Poincaré (stroboscopic) map may be constructed. The influence of both the delay and the amplitude of the impulses on the dynamics is explained in terms of the geometric properties of either the isochrone portrait or the PTC. Interest has recently grown on this kind of excitation because in real-life feedback systems a delay is always present.  相似文献

Oscillations of a string-type generator with a time-delay amplifier are studied. Nonlinear dynamics of this system is governed by a set of partial, ordinary and integral equations with a time delay. First, an analytical perturbation method (supported by symbolic computation) which yields the averaged amplitude equations (AVE) is presented and then the amplitude equations are analysed numerically, showing some surprising phenomena.
Sommario Si studiano le oscillazioni di un modello elettromeccanico monodimensionale con amplificatore. La dinamica non lineare del sistema è retta da un sistema di equazioni misto (alle derivate parziali, ordinaria e integrale) con un ritardo temporale. Viene presentata dapprima una procedura analitica perturbativa (supportata dalla manipolazione simbolica) che fornisce le equazioni di modulazione dell' ampiezza con il metodo della media; successivamente, si analizzano numericamente tali equazioni evidenziando alcuni interessanti fenomeni dinamici.

This article focuses on the problem of exponential synchronization for fractional‐order chaotic systems via a nonfragile controller. A criterion for α‐exponential stability of an error system is obtained using the drive‐response synchronization concept together with the Lyapunov stability theory and linear matrix inequalities approach. The uncertainty in system is considered with polytopic form together with structured form. The sufficient conditions are derived for two kinds of structured uncertainty, namely, (1) norm bounded one and (2) linear fractional transformation one. Finally, numerical examples are presented by taking the fractional‐order chaotic Lorenz system and fractional‐order chaotic Newton–Leipnik system to illustrate the applicability of the obtained theory. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In this article, we investigate globally exponentially attractive sets and chaos synchronization for a hyperchaotic system, namely, Lorenz–Stenflo system. For this system, two ellipsoidal globally exponentially attractive sets are derived based on generalized Lyapunov function theory and the extremum principle of function. Furthermore, we propose linear feedback control with a one, two, three, and four inputs to realize globally exponential synchronization of two four‐dimesional hyperchaotic systems using inequality techniques. In this paper, the exponential synchronization problem of delayed coupled reaction‐diffusion systems on networks (DCRDSNs) is investigated. Based on graph theory, a systematic method is designed to achieve exponential synchronization between two DCRDSNs by constructing a global Lyapunov function for error system. Two different kinds of sufficient synchronization criteria are derived in the form of Lyapunov functions and coefficients of drive‐response systems, respectively. This paper discusses some basic dynamical properties of the chaotic finance system with parameter switching perturbation, and investigates chaos projective synchronization of the chaotic finance system with the time‐varying delayed feedback controller, which are not fully considered in the existing research. Different from the previous methods, in this paper, the delayed feedback controller is not only time‐varying, but also the time‐varying delay is adaptive. In this article a technique to achieve synchronization in spatially extended systems is introduced. The basic idea behind this method is to map a system of partial differential equations (PDEs) into a high-dimensional space where the representation of this PDE is an ordinary differential equation. By using semi-group theory, we are able to find conditions that ensure the synchronization of two systems of non-identical reaction–diffusion equations with a master–slave coupling.  相似文献

The chaos expansion of a general non-linear function of a Gaussian stationary increment process conditioned on its past realizations is derived. This work combines the Wiener chaos expansion approach to study the dynamics of a stochastic system with the classical problem of the prediction of a Gaussian process based on a realization of its past. This is done by considering special bases for the Gaussian space 𝒢 generated by the process, which allows us to obtain an orthogonal basis for the Fock space of 𝒢 such that each basis element is either measurable or independent with respect to the given samples. This allows us to easily derive the chaos expansion of a random variable conditioned on part of the sample path. We provide a general method for the construction of such basis when the underlying process is Gaussian with stationary increment. We evaluate the basis elements in the case of the fractional Brownian motion, which leads to a prediction formula for this process.  相似文献
