On normal approximation of discounted and strongly mixing random variables

We estimate the difference for bounded functions h: ℝ → ℝ satisfying the Lipschitz condition, where Z _v = B _v ⁻¹ ∑ _i=0 ^∞ v ⁱ X _i and with discount factor ν such that 0 < ν < 1. Here {X _n , n ≥ 0} is a sequence of strongly mixing random variables with , and N is a standard normal random variable. In a particular case, the obtained upper bounds are of order O((1 − ν)^1/2). The class of mappings with bounded specific oscillation,and integrability of mappings with bounded distortion on Carnot groups

This paper is the first of the author’s three articles on stability in the Liouville theorem on the Heisenberg group. The aim is to prove that each mapping with bounded distortion of a John domain on the Heisenberg group is close to a conformal mapping with order of closeness \(\sqrt {K - 1} \) in the uniform norm and order of closeness K ? 1 in the Sobolev norm L _p ¹ for all \(p < \tfrac{C}{{K - 1}}\).In the present article we study integrability of mappings with bounded specific oscillation on spaces of homogeneous type. As an example, we consider mappings with bounded distortion on the Heisenberg group. We prove that a mapping with bounded distortion belongs to the Sobolev class W _p,loc ¹ , where p → ∞ as the distortion coefficient tends to 1.     

Certain condition on the second fundamental form of CR submanifolds of maximal CR dimension of complex Euclidean space

We treat m-dimensional real submanifolds M of complex space forms ̿M when the maximal holomorphic tangent subspace is (m−1)-dimensional. On these manifolds there exists an almost contact structure F which is naturally induced from the ambient space and in this paper we study the condition h(FX,Y)−h(X,FY) = g(FX,Y)η, η∊ T⊥(M), on the structure F and on the second fundamental form h of these submanifolds. Especially when the ambient space ̿M is a complex Euclidean space, we obtain a complete classification of submanifolds M which satisfy these conditions.Mathematics Subject Classifications (2000): 53C15, 53C40, 53B20.     

Smooth and Nonsmooth Lipschitz Controls for a Class of Vector Differential Equations

This paper is devoted to the study of a class of control problems associated to a nonlinear second-order vector differential equation with pointwise state constraints. The control is realized via a function of the state. We extend the results of Akkouchi, Bounabat, and Goebel to vector differential equations and furthermore consider the more general case. Under proper conditions, we prove the existence of optimal controls in the class of Lipschitz functions and obtain an optimality condition which looks somehow like the Pontryagin maximum principle for a smooth optimal control function. For a nonsmooth optimal control function, we derive a suboptimality condition by means of the Ekeland variational principle.Communicated by M. J. A generalization of Dahlberg's theorem concerning the regularity of harmonic Green potentials

Let be the solution operator for in , Tr on , where is a bounded domain in . B. E. J. Dahlberg proved that for a bounded Lipschitz domain maps boundedly into weak- and that there exists such that is bounded for . In this paper, we generalize this result by addressing two aspects. First we are also able to treat the solution operator corresponding to Neumann boundary conditions and, second, we prove mapping properties for these operators acting on Sobolev (rather than Lebesgue) spaces.

证明n维空间中的有界凸域D能被拟共形映射到n维单位球B~n(0,1),即D是拟球,从而说明拟共形映射中的黎曼定理在n维空间中的有界凸域类中是成立的．     

二阶广义分布参数系统的谱分布

应用泛函分析算子理论的方法研究了Hilbert空间中二阶广义分布参数系统的谱分布问题,利用有界线性算子的广义逆给出了所讨论问题的解及解的构造性表达式。这对研究二阶广义分布参数系统的镇定及渐进稳定性问题都有重要的理论价值。
