On a differential game in a nondamped distributed system

We study a differential game of approach in a system whose dynamics is described by a Sobolev‐type second‐order operator differential equation in Hilbert spaces. Solutions of the equation are represented by cosine and sine operator functions. To obtain solvability conditions of the game problem, we use support functionals of two sets, which defined by the behaviors of pursuer and evader. The results are applied to the investigation of conflicted‐controlled dynamics of bending waves in a rod.     

Ulam‐Hyers stability of Caputo fractional difference equations

We study the Ulam‐Hyers stability of linear and nonlinear nabla fractional Caputo difference equations on finite intervals. Our main tool used is a recently established generalized Gronwall inequality, which allows us to give some Ulam‐Hyers stability results of discrete fractional Caputo equations. We present two examples to illustrate our main results.     

Convergence of Solutions of General Dispersive Equations Along Curve

In this paper, the authors give the local L~2 estimate of the maximal operator S_(φ,γ)~* of the operator family {S_(t,φ,γ)} defined initially by ■which is the solution(when n = 1) of the following dispersive equations(~*) along a curve γ:■where φ : R~+→R satisfies some suitable conditions and φ((-?)~(1/2)) is a pseudo-differential operator with symbol φ(|ξ|). As a consequence of the above result, the authors give the pointwise convergence of the solution(when n = 1) of the equation(~*) along curve γ.Moreover, a global L~2 estimate of the maximal operator S_(φ,γ)~* is also given in this paper.     

类Hartree-Fock方程的数值方法

本文的主要目的是介绍近年来大基组下的类Hartree-Fock方程数值求解的一些进展.类Hartree-Fock方程出现在Hartree-Fock理论和含杂化泛函的Kohn-Sham密度泛函理论中,是电子结构理论中一类重要的方程.该方程在复杂的化学和材料体系的电子结构计算中有广泛地应用.由于计算代价的原因,类Hartree-Fock方程一般只被用在较小规模的量子体系（含几十到几百个电子）的计算.从数学角度上讲,类Hartree-Fock方程是一个非线性积分-微分方程组,其计算代价主要来自于积分算子的部分,也就是Fock交换算子.通过发展和结合自适应压缩交换算子方法（ACE）,投影的C-DⅡS方法（PC-DⅡS）方法,以及插值可分密度近似方法（ISDF）,我们大大降低了杂化泛函密度泛函理论的计算代价.以含1000个硅原子的体系为例,我们将平面波基组下的杂化泛函的计算代价降至接近不含Fock交换算子的半局域泛函计算的水平.同时,我们发现类Hartree-Fock方程的数学结构也为一类特征值问题的迭代求解提供了新的思路.     

Mathematical analysis of plasmonic resonance for 2-D photonic crystal

In this article, we study the plasmonic resonance of infinite photonic crystal mounted by the double negative nanoparticles in two dimensions. The corresponding physical model is described by the Helmholz equation with so called Bloch wave condition in a periodic domain. By using the quasi-periodic layer potential techniques and the spectral theorem of quasi-periodic Neumann–Poincaré operator, the quasi-static expansion of the near field in the presence of nanoparticles is derived. Furthermore, when the magnetic permeability of nanoparticles satisfies the Drude model, we give the conditions under which the plasmonic resonance occurs, and the rate of blow up of near field energy with respect to nanoparticle's bulk electron relaxation rate and filling factor are also obtained. It indicates that one can appropriately control the bulk electron relaxation rate or filling factor of nanoparticle in photonic crystal structure such that the near field energy attains its maximum, and enhancing the efficiency of energy utilization.     

Lower Bounds of Dirichlet Eigenvalues for General Grushin Type Bi-Subelliptic Operators

Let Q be a bounded open domain in R^n with smooth boundaryаΩ.Let X=(X1,X2…,Xm)be a system of general Grushin type vector fields defined onΩand the boundaryаΩis non-characteristic for X.For△x=∑j=1^mXj^2,we denoteλk as the k-th eigenvalue for the bi-subelliptic operator△X2^2 onΩ.In this paper,by using the sharp sub-elliptic estimates and maximally hypoeliptic estimates,we give the optimal lower bound estimates ofλk for the operatork△X^2.     

微分特征列法在拟微分算子和Lax表示中的应用

微分特征列法用于拟微分算子和非线性发展方程Lax表示的计算.首先,利用微分特征列法和微分带余除法计算拟微分算子的逆和方根,由于不必求解常微分方程组,并将解代入,因此,使得计算得以简化.其次,利用微分特征列法,约化从广义Lax方程和Zakharov-Shabat推出的非线性偏微分方程,并得到相应的非线性发展方程.在Mathematica计算机代数系统上,编写了相关程序,从而可以利用计算机辅助完成一些非线性发展方程Lax表示的计算.     

The Complete Biorthogonal Expansion Theorem and Its Application to a Class of Rectangular Plate Equations

In this paper, we first establish the separable $Hamiltonian$ system of rectangular cantilever thin plate bending problems by choosing proper dual vectors. Then using the characteristics of off-diagonal infinite-dimensional $Hamiltonian$ operator matrix, we derive the biorthogonal relationships of the eigenfunction systems and based on it we further obtain the complete biorthogonal expansion theorem. Finally, applying this theorem we obtain the general solutions of rectangular cantilever thin plate bending problems with two opposite edges slidingly supported.     

A probabilistic approach to a non‐local quadratic form and its connection to the Neumann boundary condition problem

In this paper we look at a probabilistic approach to a non‐local quadratic form that has lately attracted some interest. This form is related to a recently introduced non‐local normal derivative. The goal is to construct two Markov processes: one corresponding to that form and the other which is related to a probabilistic interpretation of the Neumann problem. We also study the Dirichlet‐to‐Neumann operator for non‐local operators.
