The chiral nitrogen Lewis base, tricyclic cinchona alkaloid derivative TQO, is an effective promoter in the catalytic, asymmetric aza‐Baylis–Hillman reaction of N‐sulfonated imines Ar? CH?NR′ 1 (R′ = Ts, Ms, Ns, SES) with various activated olefins such as methyl vinyl ketone (MVK), ethyl vinyl ketone (EVK), acrolein, methyl acrylate, phenyl acrylate, or α‐naphthyl acrylate to give the corresponding adducts in moderate to good yields with good to high ee (up to 99 %) at ?30 °C or 45 °C in various solvents, including DMF/MeCN (1:1, v/v). The first such reaction of 1 with the simplest Michael acceptor MVK and methyl acrylate has been achieved with excellent enantioselectivity. The adducts derived from MVK and EVK had the opposite absolute configuration to those from acrolein, methyl acrylate, phenyl acrylate, and α‐naphthyl acrylate. A plausible mechanism has been proposed on the basis of previous reports and the authors’ investigations. An effective bifunctional chiral nitrogen Lewis base–Brønsted acid system has been revealed in this type of aza‐Baylis–Hillman reaction. 相似文献

Seven chiral thiazolidines bound rhodium complexes were synthesized and their catalytic asymmetric hydrosilation properties were investigated It was found through investigation that the configuration of newly formed chiral centre C2 of substituted chiral thiazolidines prepared from L-cysteine or its esters has no effect on the final results of catalytic asymmetric hydrosilation.The direct reason for causing this phenomenon is reported by the present quantitative results for the first time:the rapid racemation of chiral center C2 of chiral thiazolidine ligands takes place under the catalysis of rhodium(Ⅰ) complex [Rh(COD)CI]2 相似文献

[RhCl(C8H14)2]2 together with the optically active amidines C6H5C(=NR)NHCH(CH3) (C6H5) I–V or their Li derivatives after activation with molecular hydrogen gives catalysts which at room temperature and 1.1 bar H2-pressure hydrogenate the prochiral substrates (Z)-[N-acetylamino]-cinnamic acid, itaconic acid, -methylcinnamic acid, -methylcinnamic aldehyde, and -methylcinnamic alcohol as well as cyclohexene, benzene and toluene. Good hydrogenation activity of the new catalysts is in contrast to low optical induction which only in the hydrogenation of -methylcinnamic alcohol with 1.5 to 2% leads to values different from zero.

We herein report on solution structural studies of Ru^Ⅱ catalysts (3a, 9) composed of achiral bisphosphine ligands (4, 8) and the enantiopure 1,2-diphenylethylenediamine (DPEN). Complete chiral induction from enantiopure (R,R)-DPEN to achiral bisphosphine ligand 3a was observed in solution, with the complex adopting a single, stable and non-fluxional (even at 70 ℃) configuration. The coordination of the C=O moiety in 4 to the cationic Run center is considered to be of key importance in providing the higher thermodynamic and kinetic rotation barrier for the flexible bisphosphine ligand in the complex. The obtained enantioselectivity (91% enantiomeric excess) and sense of chiral induction in the hydrogenation of acetophenone were found to be solely dependent on the chirality of the 1,2-diamine. Consistent with the hydrogenation product, the (R,R)-DPEN induces a M-conformation (fight-handed) chirality for flexible phosphine ligand 4 in the complex, resulting in a 2,2-configuration about the Ru^Ⅱ center. 相似文献

The MM3 force field has been extended to deal with the lithium amide molecules that are widely used as efficient catalysts for stereoselective asymmetric synthesis. The MM3 force field parameters have been determined on the basis of the ab initio MP2/6-31G* and/or DFT (B3LYP/6-31G*, B3-PW91/6-31G*) geometry optimization calculations. To evaluate the electronic interactions specific to the lithium amides derived from the diamine molecules properly, the Lewis bonding potential term for the interaction between the lithium atom and the nonbonded adjacent electronegative atom such as nitrogen was introduced into the MM3 force field. The bond dipoles were evaluated correctly from the electronic charges on the atoms calculated by fitting to the electrostatic potential at points selected. The MM3 results on the molecular structures, conformational energies, and vibrational spectra show good agreement with those from the quantum mechanical calculations. 相似文献
