Holomorphic Vector Bundle on Hopf Manifolds with Abelian Fundamental Groups

Let X be a Hopf manifolds with an Abelian fundamental group. E is a holomorphic vector bundle of rank r with trivial pull-back to W = ℂ ⁿ –{0}. We prove the existence of a non-vanishing section of L⊗E for some line bundle on X and study the vector bundles filtration structure of E. These generalize the results of D. Mall about structure theorem of such a vector bundle E. The research was supported by 973 Project Foundation of China and the Outstanding Youth Science Grant of NSFC (grant no. 19825105)     

Crystal Bases for Quantum Affine Algebras and Combinatorics of Young Walls

In this paper we give a realization of crystal bases for quantumaffine algebras using some new combinatorial objects which wecall the Young walls. The Young walls consist of colored blockswith various shapes that are built on a given ground-state walland can be viewed as generalizations of Young diagrams. Therules for building Young walls and the action of Kashiwara operatorsare given explicitly in terms of combinatorics of Young walls.The crystal graph of a basic representation is characterizedas the set of all reduced proper Young walls. Compactly Supported Tight Affine Frames with Integer Dilations and Maximum Vanishing Moments

When a cardinal B-spline of order greater than 1 is used as the scaling function to generate a multiresolution approximation of L ²=L ²(R) with dilation integer factor M2, the standard matrix extension approach for constructing compactly supported tight frames has the limitation that at least one of the tight frame generators does not annihilate any polynomial except the constant. The notion of vanishing moment recovery (VMR) was introduced in our earlier work (and independently by Daubechies et al.) for dilation M=2 to increase the order of vanishing moments. This present paper extends the tight frame results in the above mentioned papers from dilation M=2 to arbitrary integer M2 for any compactly supported M-dilation scaling functions. It is shown, in particular, that M compactly supported tight frame generators suffice, but not M–1 in general. A complete characterization of the M-dilation polynomial symbol is derived for the existence of M–1 such frame generators. Linear spline examples are given for M=3,4 to demonstrate our constructive approach.     

BRST Resolution for the Principally Graded Wakimoto Module of $$\widehat{\mathfrak{s}\mathfrak{l}}_2 $$

BRST resolution is studied for the principally graded Wakimoto module of recently found in math.QA/0005203. The submodule structure is completely determined and irreducible representations can be obtained as the zero-th cohomology group.     

-actions whose fixed data has a section

Given a collection of real vector bundles over a closed manifold , suppose that, for some is of the form , where is the trivial one-dimensional bundle. In this paper we prove that if is the fixed data of a -action, then the same is true for the Whitney sum obtained from by replacing by . This stability property is well-known for involutions. Together with techniques previously developed, this result is used to describe, up to bordism, all possible -actions fixing the disjoint union of an even projective space and a point.     

On classification of polarized varieties with non-integral nef values

求解和阵流固耦合方程,必须先求出独立参数Ｄ。本文介绍了一种求解方形截面情况下参数Ｄ的差分方法,首先根据边界条件,得到了求解局部问题的差分模型,在此基础上求出局部函数χ（ｙ１,ｙ２）在流体域内各离散网格点上的值,绘出了局部压力场的等值线图,并由此计算参数Ｄ的值,然后发迹λ值,重复相同的运算,最后绘出Ｄ随λ变化曲线,并和一种渐近解作了比较。结果表明,该数值解法简明、准确。     

Sectional bodies associated with a convex body

We define the sectional bodies associated to a convex body in and two related measures of symmetry. These definitions extend those of Grünbaum (1963). As Grünbaum conjectured, we prove that the simplices are the most dissymmetrical convex bodies with respect to these measures. In the case when the convex body has a sufficiently smooth boundary, we investigate some limit behaviours of the volume of the sectional bodies.

     

Distorting symmetric designs

A simple replacement approach is used to construct new symmetric and affine designs from projective or affine spaces. This is used to construct symmetric designs with a given automorphism group, to study GMW designs, and to construct new affine designs whose automorphism group fixes a point and has just two point- and block-orbits.      

Flow prolongation of some tangent valued forms

We study the prolongation of semibasic projectable tangent valued k-forms on fibered manifolds with respect to a bundle functor F on local isomorphisms that is based on the flow prolongation of vector fields and uses an auxiliary linear r-th order connection on the base manifold, where r is the base order of F. We find a general condition under which the Frölicher-Nijenhuis bracket is preserved. Special attention is paid to the curvature of connections. The first order jet functor and the tangent functor are discussed in detail. Next we clarify how this prolongation procedure can be extended to arbitrary projectable tangent valued k-forms in the case F is a fiber product preserving bundle functor on the category of fibered manifolds with m-dimensional bases and local diffeomorphisms as base maps.
