The IP P＋M/M/c queueing system has been extensively used in the modern communication system.The existence and uniqueness of stationary distribution of the queue length L（t）for IP P＋M/M/1 queue has been proved in[10].In this paper,we shall give the su？cient and necessary conditions of l-ergodicity,geometric ergodicity,and prove that they are neither uniformly polynomial ergodicity nor strong ergodicity.     

Periodic nonautonomous differential equations with noninstantaneous impulsive effects

In this paper, we study a new class of periodic nonautonomous differential equations with periodic noninstantaneous impulsive effects. A concept of noninstantaneous impulsive Cauchy matrix is introduced, and some basic properties are considered. We give the representation of solutions to the homogeneous problem and nonhomogeneous problem by using noninstantaneous impulsive Cauchy matrix, and the variation of constants method, adjoint systems, and periodicity of solutions is verified under standard periodicity conditions. Further, we show the existence and uniqueness of solutions of semilinear problem and establish existence result for periodic solutions via Brouwer fixed point theorem and uniqueness and global asymptotic stability via Banach fixed point theorem.

Comparison of adjoint‐based and feature‐based grid adaptation for functional outputs

Adjoint‐based and feature‐based grid adaptive strategies are compared for their robustness and effectiveness in improving the accuracy of functional outputs such as lift and drag coefficients. The output‐based adjoint approach strives to improve the adjoint error estimates that relate the local residual errors to the global error in an output function via adjoint variables as weight functions. A conservative adaptive indicator that takes into account the residual errors in both the primal (flow) and dual (adjoint) solutions is implemented for the adjoint approach. The physics‐based feature approach strives to identify and resolve significant features of the flow to improve functional accuracy. Adaptive indicators that represent expansions and compressions in the flow direction and gradients normal to the flow direction are implemented for the feature approach. The adaptive approaches are compared for functional outputs of three‐dimensional arbitrary Mach number flow simulations on mixed‐element unstructured meshes. Grid adaptation is performed with h‐refinement and results are presented for inviscid, laminar and turbulent flows. Copyright © 2006 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

Asymptotic behavior of Markov semigroups on preduals of von Neumann algebras

We develop a new approach for investigation of asymptotic behavior of Markov semigroup on preduals of von Neumann algebras. With using of our technique we establish several results about mean ergodicity, statistical stability, and constrictiviness of Markov semigroups.     

On the boundary value problem for the spectrally loaded heat conduction operator

We consider the boundary value problems in a quarter-plane for a loaded heat conduction operator (one-dimensional in the space variable). A peculiarity of the operator in question is as follows: first, the spectral parameter is the coefficient of the loaded summand; second, the order of the derivative in the loaded summand is equal to that of the differential part of the operator, and third, the load point moves with a variable velocity. We demonstrate that the boundary value problem under study is Noetherian.

A posteriori pointwise error estimation for compressible fluid flows using adjoint parameters and Lagrange remainder

The pointwise error of a finite‐difference calculation of supersonic flow is discussed. The local truncation error is determined by a Taylor series with the remainder being in a Lagrange form. The contribution of the local truncation error to the total pointwise approximation error is estimated via adjoint parameters. It is demonstrated by numerical tests that the results of the numerical calculation of gasdynamics parameter at an observation point may be refined and an error bound may be estimated. The results of numerical tests for the case of parabolized Navier–Stokes are presented as an illustration of the proposed method. Copyright © 2004 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

令Dm表示三阶完全圈K3的一个顶点与路Pm-2的一个1度点重迭后得到的图；ψD^(i)(k,m），表示把Dm的第i个顶点（第1个顶点是1度点）与星图Sk 1的k度点重迭后得到的图；Erm r-1^D(i)表示把rDm中一个分支的第i个顶点与Sr的r-1度点重迭，同时把其余r-1个分支的第i个顶点分别与Sr的r-1个1度点都依次连一条边后得到的图。我们证明了对于1≤i≤m,r≥2，科簇Erm r-1^D(i) ∪(r-1)K1与Dm∪(r-2)ψD^(i)(1,m)∪ψD^(i)(r,m)两的补图是色等价的。
