Leibniz Central Extensions on Some Infinite-Dimensional Lie Algebras

Abstract

In this paper, all one-dimensional Leibniz central extensions on the algebras of differential operators over C[t, t ^?1] and C((t)), as well as on the quantum 2-torus, the Virasoro-like algebra and its q-analog are studied. We determine all nontrivial Leibniz 2-cocycles on these infinite dimensional Lie algebras.     

Supercentralizing Superderivations on Prime Superalgebras

ABSTRACT

Let A = A ₀ ⊕ A ₁ be an associative superalgebra over a commutative associative ring F, and let Z _s (A) be its supercenter. An F-mapping f of A into itself is called supercentralizing on a subset S of A if [x, f(x)] _s  ∈ Z _s (A) for all x ∈ S. In this article, we prove a version of Posner's theorem for supercentralizing superderivations on prime superalgebras.     

Adjoint and Frobenius Pairs of Functors for Corings

We investigate adjoint and Frobenius pairs between categories of comodules over rather general corings. We particularize to the case of the adjoint pair of functors associated to a morphism of corings over different base rings, which leads to a reasonable notion of Frobenius coring extension. When applied to corings stemming from entwining structures, we obtain new results in this setting and in graded ring theory.     

Group completion in the K-theory and Grothendieck–Witt theory of proto-exact categories

We study the algebraic K-theory and Grothendieck–Witt theory of proto-exact categories, with a particular focus on classes of examples of ${\mathbb{F}}_1$-linear nature. Our main results are analogues of theorems of Quillen and Schlichting, relating the K-theory or Grothendieck–Witt theory spaces of proto-exact categories defined using the (hermitian) Q-construction and group completion.     

Generalized P(N)-graded Lie superalgebras

We generalize the P(N)-graded Lie superalgebras of Martinez-Zelmanov. This generalization is not so restrictive but suffcient enough so that we are able to have a classification for this generalized P(N)-graded Lie superalgebras. Our result is that the generalized P(N)-graded Lie super-algebra L is centrally isogenous to a matrix Lie superalgebra coordinated by an associative superalgebra with a super-involution. Moreover, L is P(N)-graded if and only if the coordinate algebra R is commutative and the super-involution is trivial. This recovers Martinez-Zelmanov's theorem for type P(N). We also obtain a generalization of Kac's coordinatization via Tits-Kantor-Koecher construction. Actually, the motivation of this generalization comes from the Fermionic-Bosonic module construction.     

Complete hom-Lie superalgebras

Abstract

In this article, we investigate some basic results on complete hom-Lie superalgebras. In particular, we present some sufficient conditions for a hom-Lie superalgebra to be a complete hom-Lie superalgebra. Making use of these conditions, we build a family of complete hom-Lie superalgebras.     

Polynomials Annihilating the Witt Ring

Let F be a non-formally real field of characteristic not 2 and let W(F) be the Witt ring of F. In certain cases generators for the annihilator ideal are determined. Aim the primary decomposition of A(F) is given. For formally d fields F, as an analogue the primary decomposition of A_t(F) = {f(X) ∈ Z[X]| f(ω) = 0 for all ω ∈ W_t(F)}, where W_t(F) is the torsion part of the Witt group, is obtained.
