A recursive color image edge detection method using Green's function approach

In this paper, an extended version of image edge detector using Green's function approach is proposed for detection of edges in the color vector space field. In the proposed method, the relationship between the Red, Green and Blue components is considered to design a differential operator for detection of edges in color images. By using the proposed operator, partial derivatives of all components of color image can simultaneously affect on the edge detection process. Therefore the proposed method can preserve the vector nature of color images during the edge processing stages. Also, the proposed method is compared both quantitatively and qualitatively with other color edge detectors. Experimental results show that the proposed method can efficiently preserve the edges even when the color images corrupted with different levels of noise.     

Asymptotic convergence of a simulated annealing algorithm for multiobjective optimization problems

In this paper we consider a simulated annealing algorithm for multiobjective optimization problems. With a suitable choice of the acceptance probabilities, the algorithm is shown to converge asymptotically, that is, the Markov chain that describes the algorithm converges with probability one to the Pareto optimal set.     

原子距边矢量、三键数与烷烃的13C NMR化学位移

提出一个新的原子描述符-原子距边矢量(μ)来表达碳原子在烷烃中所处环境信息,用该矢量和三键数作为参数与烷烃碳原子(含2~9个碳原子共63个烷烃分子,计326个不等价碳原子)的¹³C NMR化学位移相关联,得到的多元线性回归分析结果为:标准偏差S仅0.9629ppm,相关系数R为0.9957.用所得线性方程预测得精度为:误差在1.0,1.5和2.0ppm以内的分别占83%,90%和95%.

Spectral changes of vector Gaussian Schell-model beams passing through an aperture lens

On the basis of the polarization matrix and propagation equation of the cross-spectral density matrix, the spectral changes in the focal plane of vector Gaussian Schell-model (GSM) beams focused by an aperture lens are studied, where the influence of correlation and polarizer on the behavior of the spectral switch is stressed. It is found that the critical position u_c, spectral minimum S_min, and transition height Δ of the spectral switch depend on the auto-correlation but do not depend on the cross-correlation of GSM beams if there is no polarizer. However, in the presence of the polarizer u_c, S_min and Δ depend on both auto- and cross-correlations. The polarizer affects the spectral switch of vector GSM beams, whereas it does not affect the spectral switch of scalar GSM beams.     

Morse inequalities, a function space integral approach

In this paper we prove the Morse inequalities in the non-degenerate and degenerate cases. Like the approach of J.-M. Bismut, ours is based on the idea suggested by Witten. In fact, if anything, our approach is closer to Witten's original idea than Bismut's.     

Connectedness of the efficient set in strictly quasiconcave vector maximization

In this paper, the concepts of quasiconcave set and strictly quasiconcave set are introduced. By using these concepts, we get a new sufficient condition for the efficient outcome set to be connected. This leads to the connectedness of the efficient solution set in strictly quasiconcave vector maximization under the mild condition that the efficient frontier is closed.The authors would like to thank Professor E. Matrix formulation of vector operations

An efficient technique is developed to simplify the computations in the area of vector analysis. The evaluation of vector algebraic and differential operations becomes more simple and straightforward by simply converting the vector operations into matrix operations. The matrix formulation technique is especially useful when there are mixed coordinate basis involved in the vector operations.     

一种水下运动目标被动报警的新算法

根据矢量水听器的测向原理和算法，提出了一种目标方位角的变化实现水下运动目标低频高精度的报警方法。该报警系统以水下设施为平台，对靠近设施的运动目标的方位进行跟踪测量，并在目标距离水下设施最近时给出报警信号，以达到有效地避免事故的目的。与传统的利用声级变化报警或主动回波测距报警方法相比，该方法具有低频、作用距离远和高精度的特点。
